One thing I am so suspicious of is Manjari acting all shocked and surprised. Surely she knew what the relationship is like between son and father? I suppose she had no way of knowing Abhi would dis-invite his dad from his own wedding but as a viewer I had seen Abhi and Harsh go to extreme with their words in their desire to be the 'top dog' in their conversation. As a mother you would have seen it and do your best to either smooth it out or keep away from it.

I understand her stance but I don't approve of it. If you couldn't help their relationship then the best stance is to say 'I won't get in the middle' and to make it clear to both Abhi and Harsh that she would do what she pleases.

But I guess the family theme needs to be hammered into us so no, she will stand her ground until Abhi caves in as he won't get married without his mum.

Like I said before, Abhira really should elope!🤣

I did like that spark of concern from Akshu but felt it is more due realising that in some way she is responsible for his plight so decided to help him get sleep. I would loved it more if she had called just because she wanted to speak with him!

Yes there is something weird about her.

Like I said before, there is more to her than meets the eye. She does come across very innocent but sometimes you are left with questions. As we haven't seen her too much yet it is confusing but when she gets moments of clarity she is very strong - which makes me think maybe she is hiding things as well.

I think we will slowly see more and more of her personality. We thought she adored Abhi blindly but not so. Harsh is important to her so for him, she may even go against Abhi - then Akshu and then it will Manjari v Akshu.

Manjari has secrets she is keeping from everyone, but mainly from Harsh. She is not a complete bechari. The Birla baccha party is fully under her control including Abhi. She is already turning against Ak I think - she snatched Abhi’s phone and told Ak Abhi will call her later. She looks young but often times needs help medically - I wonder what ails her?

@ red, too much stressed her out 😆 she needs time to think and plan.

As I said we haven't seen her enough to see if she does have a hidden agenda. But we thought she would blindly support Abhi but it doesn't look like it.

The kids love and support her because she raised them as the others are busy working and building a career.

But yes Manjari will soon show her true mettle. I think it already has started...she won't stand for anyone disrespecting Harsh and made her battle lines clear. There is more and it will be revealed piece by piece as per story demand.

But manjari choses Harsh always as she loves him blindly. Today Abhi got choked seeing their love he is unable to understand their dynamics. And i am happy that Akshu didn't call her maa immediately on vday. She is still addressing her as aunty. I am glad that unnecessary hype is not given by Akshu for her. Later on Akshu has to open all the secrets no doubt and manjari is the key to it. Remember during Ruby case how she blurted Akshara thi waha pe to save her son. She will flip her sides like chamelion. If she is given chose the best it's Harsh for her. That's reason Harsh manipulates Manjari for Abhi.

All the misunderstanding happened for a reason - to show us who the Birla's think is more suitable for Abhi if they had a choice in it, to show that Akshu is mahan and does not toot her own horns and etc. Those are done to propel the story, to show us how the characters react in situations and etc. It moved the story to the point where Abhi, though in love, was caused so much pain by that love itself to the point towards he end he was hating himself and Akshu.

issue is even Akshu is not understanding him. He says in the segment you dont know about my family and she is all upset. I get her pov but would have been nice to make him feel shes with him .

Manjari spoke about bade papa also..Harsh sis going to brainwash her against akshu

Meher -I love your last sentence- maybe Abhi elevated his own position in the Birla family by being the state topper and best cardiologist.

Does Abhi feel indebted to Manjari?

And yes we know the source of Ak’s pain but we still don’t know Abhi’s secrets yet. And it’s true that he does not share his troubles with Ak - because he wants to protect her and baby her. They need to talk and share their problems and they will get there slowly.

Certainly we have seen Abhi respects and love his mother. Even after a hard day at the hospital, he tidies up and helps in the kitchen. Like you said, love or indebtedness? only time will tell.

I really think, if Abhi is adopted, Manjari switched babies for some reason and no one but her knows. Maybe that is when her illness (nervousness) came from? something triggers it and she gets all batty?🤓

Mahima got jealous because she feels she should be next, not Abhi.

I think his pain stems from not being able to be a child, but has to be responsible for Manjari. He saw from an young age how everyone treated her so he became her saviour when it should be the other way round- but he is a child and should have his childhood so he feels like he missed out and that is his pain, growing up too quickly and missing out. The second is he does get love from his mum but not from his dad,. he feels the expectation on him to do well. All of these can create pressure and twist a child's emotion.

Respect does not equal love. I always got the impression that because he is so glorified he stands alone...one of them but not truly one of them...like he is on a pedestal and they surround him. He probably felt immense pressure as he did well in study and became a surgeon, somewhere inside he accepted that pressure but does not mean he has to like it.

This is why I wanted more clarification from Abhi. We only heard about his pain but really the cause of it. We can guess and make conjecture from what we see and hear but writers can twist it anytime.😕
