The way I am seeing AKT now, it feels like he cannot do or say the right thing anymore. He is taunted and made fun of by everyone, he was abused by his own so called friend and wife..MC. He did not show enough trust on Imlie, stood silent, blamed her, called her shameless...all the worst things a man could say to a person.
Now when he realizes his mistake and tries to make amends, he is still being labeled as the bad guy. He just cannot seem to do anything right.. he found the file as evidence.. his brain seems to be working now.. a lil too late.
Do we even see him introspect ? We don't get any such scenes for this ckt, all reserved for the Mahaan ASR who does everything right, can do no wrong. Being promoted above and beyond the rest of the cast, including chimlie.
AKT is not thinking about the loan on the house or the fact he is yet to divorce MC or that he is going to be a father soon. Dunno where the writing is going. it is cringe on many levels.
I did find Manvi good in his scenes today, if he is given the right material to perform, then he delivers.. and if Rahul is directing.. or someone else then it is just bleh.. at least to me. can see him being inconsistent in his performance.
Manvi n ST have not gotten much scenes so far.. but whatever little shown so far, they are making it look good.
Now on looks like it is going to be aryl n their lub story. ugh......
