RJ Akkriti and Salil Acharya interviews were before the release of A Thursday. And his Madhur Bhandarkar meeting interview was in January.
Well Rj Akriti's IV (even his tweet )where he said he was low was on 16th Feb...and I'm assuming that it was due to cancelation of the project .And the news of him doing Madhur's film came out on 21 st Feb.Here is the link to the IV on the reputed journal. https://m.timesofindia.com/tv/news/hindi/exclusive-karanvir-sharma-to-be-seen-in-madhur-bhandarkars-next-opposite-tamannaah-bhatia/amp_articleshow/89726073.cms
I feel he is not part of the project because they have already wrapped up the 1st scheyof shoot in Chandhigarh and the other guy was part of it.
And here are the names of the full cast doing the film. The 1st schedule wrapped up ..but may be KV would join the cast in the 2nd schedule.

His role in Thursday though he performed well was not outstanding. The only reason he is getting noticed is because of his fans who hype him like no tomorrow.
Fans trend does count but how many ppl who doesn't know KV will pay heed to such trends??Moreover,I have seen critics also appreciating his performances in KV's story.I don't think critic's analysis about his performance in the movie will be moulded by such trends.I loved his performance , according to me....even with a limited screen space he did a splendid job...but to me the Naina and Rohit chemistry in that few mins scene didn't click.
Even the ph mentioned him only after he was trented for the role. Anyway hope he works in projects where he is the lead and not part of some ensemble cast. Just like Pratik Gandhi and Vikrant Messey who were noticed after their webseries
I don't mind him doing roles which are not as lead. Infact I will like him to do substantial roles which would have a strong impact on audiences mind .
