I know!! they goofed up so much!! Bajirao was only 7 years old when Aurangzeb died!! They casted a kid actor who was in my guess was 13 to 14 years old!! Balaji Vishwanath had no role to play during the formative years of Maratha Empire!! It was Tarabai and Dhanaji Jadhav who finally \send Aurangzeb and Mughals to their grave!! Mughal Empire also died along with Aurangzeb in Maharashtra!! They messed up the timeline badly!! Which is unforgiveable in any Historical!! When adult actors came they messed up the storyline turning Balaji Vishwanath into a cheater who had illegitimate children and Bajirao had no feelings for Kashibai, which is not true at all!! Bajirao and Mastani's marriage was a political move by her father Raja Chattrasal who wanted an alliance with the powerful Maratha Empire and in dowry gave Bajirao 1/3rd of his kingdom in Bundelkhand!! Mastani had no more role to play in history other than that and Bajirao's main companion was Kashibai!! When Bajirao campaigned in Rajputana and visited Rana of Mewar , Kashibai accompanied him not Mastani!!

You seem to have a very good knowledge about Maratha history…I don’t know much…but I googled it when there was a uproar in the shows forum about the distortion and was baffled by the way they were twisting history in the name of drama and I stopped reading even written updates…
