Appears it's you who is looking at it in a biased way. Sanjana gets way more than the other 2 ( screen time,gifts, praise etc etc ) , even has a background song for her .She didn't even make the original cut at audition, but they cooked up some excuse to squeeze her in.

IT IS SIMPLY UNFAIR TO OTHERS FOR CHANNEL GIVING SO MUCH PREFERENTIAL TREATMENT TO Sanjana & her family. Love her girls but keep the family off the stage. They can sit just like other contestants family member. I’m not sure if other contestant’s family member gets provided with new clothes for each episode. But I do see Sanjana’ daughters get one.

I didn't say that sanjana doesn't do drama, I meant to say that just like giving extra preference for one contestant is wrong, in the same way targeting one contestant is also wrong. Even Snigdhajit is portrayed as a person from poor background, which he is not actually. He was also given devanand ji's cap as a gift, what is wrong in getting gifts? People love kids, so they give gifts to them, it's common.

And for your 2nd Question, as a regular viewer (I am not interested 😑😒, it's all because of my mom 😭), I have seen family members of many contestants doing drama or being targeted, doesn't matter if they come on stage or not. Like when vraj was their, his parents where also targeted everytime and always discussed about vraj's marriage and etc etc. And see Nilanjana's auditions, you can see how much exaggerated was her father's sacrifices for his daughter. There are so many fathers in this world who tirelessly work day and night for earning bread and butter and for their kids, so that they get proper education and live a better lifestyle. And when she was nominated as Vaseline performer of the day, the same happened.

And maybe for drama sanjana is preferred, but in singing she is sidelined. She always get 1 song to sing, while others get 2 or 3 and in one episode, she was not given chance to sing, including 3-4 more contestants (it's unfair). Nilanjana and Rajshri always get too many chances to sing, which makes the show monotonous. The song selection by the mentors for sanjana aren't good most of the time. She is not given chance to prove herself. I think the show purposely wants to portray that she was selected for sympathy, which may not be true. She sings way better in her YouTube channel, the name is "Sanjana the music lover", you can listen it to know her talent level. There are so many instances where sanjana was treated unfairly. Other contestants are culprit too, but are saved under the veil of sanjana and her family drama.

According to my observation sanjana's selection in the show is 50-50% for drama and her singing. She sang dil hai chota sa in a unique way, that's why they selected her (my opinion, no offence). Minmini's version was plain, while sanjana added some harkats and sargams in the show to make it unique, without murdering the wonderful creation, which is not a small thing. While everyone else simply sang their songs as it is (ananya is an exception). I also won't disagree with the fact that she was selected for drama. Yes, I agree with it. She was definitely selected to get trp for the show.

And about proving her singing skills, it's not that sanjana can't prove herself, the thing was that she was not given enough chance to prove herself, due to poor song selections, getting to sing only 1 song, while others get 2-3. And singing in duets and trio further ruined her. In that also she was given easy and plain parts to sing and not the challenging ones to prove herself.

In Urmila matondkar special, the song selection for her was awesome, hence she proved herself there.

Anyways these are all my opinions, you can agree or disagree it, no problem 😊. All contestants are best in their places.

I saw Sachin’s plea to give his spot to Sanjana. Total drama. Sachin might be on his way out & Sanjana has been in top 3 per votes. He probably would have been out IMHO. WHY show is creating this type of silly dramas? So stupid 👎🏻🙄
