Hi! To understand the symbolism of the high gate we need to understand the complete churning process that is samudra manthan where devas and asurs were churning the samudra to obtain the nector of immortality and along with it many other valuable products too were produced out of it.. Now to churn we need a rod and a rope.. The above mentioned high gate in front of the goenkas is that rod which was actually mountain Manthara and is being rotated or pulled from both the sides of goenkas and Birlas.. The rod had to be balanced from the top and bottom or else it would sink which shows that if this push and pull is not handled properly handled and balanced in life, it will end up in both the families sinking in misery. Both the families are after amrith that is happiness in their life by bringing happiness in their kins lives. So churning is done with all their might to bring that amrith to their respective homes.
The people to balance that huge mountain Manthara without being sunk into the ocean was Lord Vishnu at the bottom of the rod as tortoise and Lord Brahma sat on the top of the mountain to give balance.. Here we can consider KV the Vishnu as the tortoise who is showing the direction and taking the responsibility of the families and bade papa for the time being as Lord brahma as he was the creator of the whole goenka kids..{characters just alloted according to the circumstances in the show, not permanent characterisation}.. Kv as tortoise i felt cause he is always slow and most of the time inside his shell and also vishnu is the brother of parvathi..which kairav is for Akshara.
Due to constant churning from both the sides of the families which is denoted by difficult challenging situations, obstacles and misunderstandings and their consequences dealt by both the families, Poison {Halahala} which is the deal came out and that could be handled only by our Shiv[abhi] who drank it quietly for the welfare of the world that is on behalf of both the families..
Parvathi or Akshara when came to know about the deadly poisonous deal immediately grabbed the throat and held on to the poison from spreading throughout the body and becoming fatal to him causing destruction and misery all around. So she stopped this deal and prevented the pending catastrophe on both the families.
Still the churning process will continue between both the families until they obtain that Amrith from the Ocean of wonders.
This complete scenario more than being a mythological connection has some psychological or spiritual fact behind it and that is we need to always look into ourselves, our intentions, our limitations, our strengths and flaws and face the challenges and hurdles in our life during the churning process, overcome them with our positive thoughts, and physical actions which should be driven with good intentions for the benefit and welfare of everybody around. Then only we can pass those challenges with flying colours and get all the goodness of life that is nector of Amrith along with other blessings and other benefits in life.. Life is not always easy and we may sometimes fall into despair or depression or negative thoughts or negative words and consequently negative actions which can harm ourselves as well as the people connected to us which should be stopped then and there itself with our positive thinking promoted in us by divine consciousness in all of us.. Negative thoughts and consequently negative actions is the poison of our lives.
So akshara managed to hold on to the poison in time and may stop it from spreading around and harming both the families. So she will halt this whole process for the time being and make each of the member question themselves their intentions and the consequences thereafter of their selfish actions.. So it will a self analysing period for all the juniors as well as the seniors in the family, understand themselves and modes and means that can be sorted to improve themselves as well as in each of the relationship in the family forgoing the poisonous ego which can be detrimental. Happiness or amrith in life can be attained only by self improvisation physically as well as mentally that too keeping the welfare of everybody around.
