AY & Naadan I am reading your earlier threads in the Imlie forum & right now I am at the one for the epi in which Adi blasted on AC & Rapist Didi at C house. In that all of you were confused about how Adi zoned out such a big jhagda with his pyaari mun & was still worried about Imlie😆.

I think we can now attribute it to Adi's immense zoning out ability wrt Rapist Didi especially when Imlie is involved. I mean he said he was sorry for the accusations he made against her which were proved 💯% correct later but I feel that he was really not that sorry about it. I mean Rapist Didi not being present during AC bullying Imlie was actually no excuse when she knew how poorly Imlie was treated by AC. Adi ko pehle hi bharosa nahi tha about rapist Didi ki ability to protect Imlie against AC that is why he went to C house in the 1st place. And he was right in his assessment. So Adi ne Rapist Didi ke drame ke baad sorry bol diya but all his focus was on Imlie & her disrespect & hurt.

Oh the pandit track was yet another psycho track after poha😆. But the way it was handled over there was so different. Nandu was naive in her belief ki her teacher who also had been her Ams student will never look at her with evil intentions for her. She also had Manik's protection whether she wanted it or not. But end main the pandit went full psycho & kidnapped her.

We as an audience could see that Manik was right about Pandit being creepy because we were shown Pandit ji ka creepiness too. Even Nandu cringed away from him when he tried to get into her personal space the 1st time when he called her for practice early in the morning after Holi. But he revealed that he was Ams student to her & that placated her instinct regarding him. But she never gave into his demand for her to live her personal life as per his dictates. He was like Manik is bad for you, stay away from him, he went to the extent of replacing him in the concert which Nandu didn't like.

And all this happened after Manik-Nandu ka break up. But Nandu didn't let herself be swayed by anyone's opinion. She even had realisation of her own mistakes wrt the reason for her break up.

LOL I don't think a spoiler was needed to understand that Pandit would be a lech😆....as far as I remember, iske entry epi se hi clear ho gaya tha mujhe toh even when the articles were just talking about him being a new entry for drama. But haan, forum mein the us time pe aapke jaise bhi kuch maasoom bhole log the who actually thought Pandit won't turn out to be a psycho and actually bas music sikhaane aaya hai Nandu ko😆......but after seeing what they did with the Soha track, woh pattern mujhe obvious ho gaya tha ki ab back to back psychos hi laayenge and wohi hua.

Actually initially when his track started, he was using all these Aryan waale tactics only of demeaning her to supposedly "make her stronger"....actually Nandu ko kaafi time tak nahin realize hua that he's a creep cuz she was fixated on her "hope games" with Manik.....lol but wahaan pe bhi lines thi like Nandu saying a teacher-student is the purest relationship etc. etc. when Manik would try to caution her about Pandit ke intentions......so all that was giving me deja vu given how Imlie behaved initially with Aryan. Ab toh ofcourse it's all a moot point😆

Basically Nandu was naive and clueless.....but she wasn't doing acrobatics with the Pandit in the name of "general help".....lol meanwhile Imlie ke case mein they use her so called "Imlie-giri" as excuse to show all kinds of physical proximity with her boss and she never blinks.....and still tries to act like it's all innocent and above board....lol

Anyways I know the comparison is pointless cuz KY2 was a show which actually addressed both this issue and the resulting PTSD with some sensitivity....while Imlie is a show which glorifies and whitewashes a rapist and criminal, whitewashes manipulation, physical restraining as "Shiddat".....lol toh unke liye all this creepy lecherous behavior romanticize karna will also be no big deal. 😆

Oh haha the Volcano Adi wala thread? 😆 I remember the precap of scene that got me so excited 😆....I was expecting pata nahin kya kya....haha ki basically is scene ke baad sabko clear ho jaayega what Imlie means to him etc. etc.....but uske baad bhi Imlie Devi insisted on staying back in C house and yeh as usual majboor hokar chala gaya😆. In hindsight I should have taken it as a sign ki story will stay stuck in this contrivance😆

Actually at that time, I still used to give some benefit of doubt to Malini ki woh dumb hai but not malicious 😆....it was dumb of her to allow Imlie to serve AC ki friends there, period...instead of saying a big no, she claimed woh khud bhi kitchen mein kaam karke Imlie ko respect de rahi hai....LOL this should again have been an early sign to us of how makers will cover up her lame behavior. And yes, Adi ka outburst had that instinctual read on Malini ki she will not be able to protect Imlie in C house since all said and done, her upbringing has been in the world of AC only.

But to your point.....yes, it was an early indicator of Adi's complete focus on Imlie as well as the fact that he never really loved Malini if such a big fight also could only guilt trip him a bit while he was more worried about Imlie's state in C house....even pre-realization he was in that zone toh obviously realization ke baad toh Malini zoning out ability aur increase ho gayi.....lol

I remember really disliking Malini ki manipulation in that scene also when he comes to apologize to her and she drags him using Imlie ka name only and uske baad trying to act all goody goody jab family ka phone aaya to inform ki Nishu aa gaya hai....lol they used to show flashes of Malini's bitchiness in such scenes also but everything got covered up as "bechari wife who doesn't know the truth yet".....lol

Anyways, it was a different era in the forum back then....where there could be rational discussions about the complications of the relationships rather than people just tossing around "bigamist/cheater" labels so casually to dismiss Adi.....lol ab second forced marriage with Aryan and rapist Malini ko justify karne ke liye Adi ko bigamist/cheater bol rahe hain......lol well even bigamy involves consent, unlike a forced marriage or rape🤔.....but clearly typical ITV junta is incapable of grasping this much.

You really get a sense of how many people viscerally hated Adi for a year just for the bigamy....lol he didn't force or cheat anyone (was a victim of forced marriage and ultimately raped himself) but he is being blindly blamed while the two women who used him as a ping pong ball between them have both emerged as eternal victims now😆.....still seeing posts in the forum of people feeling bad for Malini after allll the planning/plotting, rape, human/sex trafficking she did🤡.....lovely *slow claps*

Nahi mujhe nahi laga tha ki Soha ke psychoness ke baad wapas dusra psycho leke aayenge🤣. But now that I think about it the show always had a psycho from the start.... harshad... harshad...harshad🤣🤣🤣. So psychos se hi story aage badhti thi show main.

See in Nandu's case we could clearly see where her naivety was coming from. She was always the studious baccha who respected authority figures be it her fam or her teachers, principal, trustee. She couldn't imagine that a teacher would have evil intentions towards a student in the same way that she couldn't imagine a mother (Nyonika) being heartless towards her son (Manik). So even if her instinct gave her signals early on, she would believe the reasonable excuses that the pandit would give. But even then she never allowed woh ek tameez ki line to be crossed from her end anytime. I cringed so hard alongwith Nandu when the pandit invited himself for dinner at her home🤪😆. And as you said Nandu ka main focus was her hope challenge with Manik. So there was never any situation in which it would indicate that Nandu showed any reciprocation to Pandit's advances or she was Ok being yelled at or manhandled by him. Bacchi used to get terrifed & cried.

Fliplie ke case main ASR was introduced to Imlie to with him demeaning her out of nowhere. And Imlie instead of giving him a solid thappad for manhandling her was busy doing tashanbaazi with him. And suddenly he became her saviour by giving her the internship which she had already earned🤪. Matlab the reason for her giving leeway for this ASR is wafer thin but phir bhi he is her mentor😵. And then later on he started chadoing her on channe ka jhaad to demean Adi & hurt Adi through her. And fliplie wanted to play main bechari pati ki maari victim🥺.

Fliplie herself allows him level of frankness with her person which is completely inappropriate for a boss-employee dynamic. But if anybody points it out to her then they are doing her character assassination. Again tameez ki boundary wali baat is totally ignored in this relationship but sab chalta hai agar chipka chipki wala cheap "romance" milta hai🤢.

Yes KY2 was a very different show indeed with the way they tried to handle many situations. Some worked really well- Cabir's portrayal of a gay man deserves a special mention. Though his love story again had the power dynamic wala problem but at least a gay couple was shown like normal couple. I think the tracks with Manik, Nandu & Cabir worked really well. But those with Dhruv, Alya, Mukti & Navya- Harshad failed because the actors just couldn't execute it.

I think the correct way to present it would have been the way it was somewhat presented in JJKN (Jassi) show. Though that show had lot of stereotyping problem & it's plot was all over the place but they did show Armaan manipulating Jassi & gas lighting her very well. But there also Jassi herself had feelings for him which he manipulated. Also it had other friends like Nandu & Purab who were warning her & there for her support. Baad main again they went into the love story zone but they had more emotional connect between Armaan-Jassi to allow for the love to develop even after such a big betrayal.

Fliplie main toh na koi buildup diya gaya for her developing a relationship with ASR & bas contrivances ki foundation pe Arylie ko thusaa gaya down our throats😆.

Yes everyone was giving benefit of doubt to Malini because she was still keeping up her niceness ka facade. She was still guilt tripping Adi in her argument & then also did ehsaan of not letting Aparna know about their jhagda. Manipulation itna smoothly kiya ki because we believed her to be a nice person it totally went under the radar.

Yes the forum indeed was very different then with people having actual discussions. Still some Malini fans were really adamant about how nothing negative should be pointed out about her simply because she was the one who didn't know the truth😆. Jaise she has the free license to do anything because of it. And this attitude continues till this day. Isiliye toh Adi ke against itna hatred hai.

Bigamy is an excuse because once Adi married Malini people simply forgot that he was married to Imlie first & automatically Adilie relationship became invalid for them. So some of these Adilie shippers also viewed them from the Ema lens only as if Imlie was the second woman. Hence even after Adi's realisation of feelings for Imlie, many people were waiting for him to go back to Malini. And Adi never gave them that even though the truth remained hidden for quite a while. This lead to hatred increasing against him.

Arylie wale toh sach main flippers hai badewale. Jo Adilie ke liye galat lagta hai inhe- forced marriage, age gap, socio economic difference woh sab unhe Arylie ke liye chal jaata hai even though they have to do mental gymanstics to prove that they are not the same things🤣. Now they have only this bigamy & ex ka baggage wala point against Adi toh wohi emphasize karte hai. Aise toh phir Imlie ka bhi ex ka baagage is there but jab tak she ignores Adi & Ts tab tak she deserves their Aru ji. As soon as she utters BS & Maa for Aparna she becomes a doormat & undeserving of their feminist ML🤣.

Aaj kal they are doing so much emphasis on Aru ji being ML jab ki kisi ne yeh baat confirm nahi ki hai. Na usey montage main jagah mili hai & neither did he get any promo focusing on him as a ML. Abhi yeh shaadi Wale promo main bhi he is being shown as a third angle between Adilie only toh pata nahi itna confidence kaha se aata hai inke paas to claim that he is the ML🤷😛.

I never watched JJKN so I can't speak to that example😆, but I agree with your points in bold.

It was never that convoluted in KY2 as they made it in Imlie with the multiple levels of convoluted contrivances going on. Pandit entered the story to shake up the dynamics but they didn't show Nandu going overboard even in her basic admiration of him based on his talent in music. Jabki yahaan in Imlie, the guy literally ran her over with his car and Imlie Maharani KHUD stretched out her hand expecting him to help her up......lol that set the tone right then and there.

Imlie mein all the people who hate Adi blindly just wanted ANY excuse for Imlie to stay away from him.....lol even if the excuse came at the cost of Imlie doing things like expecting support from the guy who almost ran her over with a car and was basically grabbing her here and there since day.....then instead of stopping him from daring to get into her personal space, she was busy throwing around toothless threats and ultimately doing dangal and kushti with him.....lol this has been sold as "comfort level" in the story as per the makers.....lol so basically after claiming for so long that she has only loved one man, Imlie overnight felt the need to get touchy feely with another guy who has basically been acting entitled to touching her anywhere he wants without any kind of relationship other than a boss/employee technicality and people should be like yep that totally makes sense? 😆

Why make a claim of love when you can't back it up? 😆 People claim that Adi did Moon jaap in the past- yeah his Moon jaap was all about how "hum Moon ke hain"....he never said over and over that he only loves Malini - he said he belongs to her cuz he viewed it as a commitment he has to stick to - meanwhile Imlie Maharani claimed she loved Adi😆 and do din mein khud ekdum RANDOM aadmi se sahara chahiye tha, random aadmi and uski lambi gaadi bedazzled her - that is the sum of what she did after leaving Adi no matter what abla bhaashans she gives now. She comes across as an extremely fickle, stupid and immature girl now.....lol and this is the girl that everyone in the story is apparently coveting now😆.....her suhaag/sindoor jaaps all turned out to be hollow after everything she claimed to have lived through in this past one year....but oh NOW she will suddenly rediscover "faith" in love and marriage by forcibly getting married to a rich guy😆....once again proving Malini Devi ke claims true.....lol

Log Adi ko bigamist/cheater bolte hain but he never claimed intense love for someone and forgot them overnight like Imlie is doing here.....lol people claim woh 7 saal ka rishta bhool gaya - anyone who saw the AM equation in the story can see why it didn't last because Adi was always in obligation mode with M and barely thought about her until obliged to....but Adi-Imlie both professed intense love for each other and Adi has stayed consistent on that point while Imlie ka pyar hawaa ho gaya to drool over the next rich guy she met....lol it didn't even take 7 years for her to "realize" that Adi se pyar nahin karti thi😆......Barbaad toh Adi ne hi ki apni life...lol better to have spent a hollow existence with creep Malini than to have discovered true love and lost it like this to a fickle teenager.

Anyways, sorry for the KY2 sidetrack....lol I saw a few scenes toh it struck me and I figured I'd mention it here.
