Impressed with SMP here. She hardly got a chance to perform other kind of songs in idol which she is performing here and doing really great job.. 👍🏼

So... Apparently the hashtag was created by the person who runs the Arunita fan page on Instagram, called Idolarunitafc. And it was created on 27-Feb-2021 right after the Govinda - Shakti Kapoor episode!

I was watching Jai Ho Bhole video today (original, not today's acoustic version) and I realized the tremendous benefits gained by PD and Arunita from the Octopus training sessions.

Several parts of Jai Ho Bhole were shot in slow motion - which means PD would have lip synced to the song played at 2X speed so that in the slow motion it looks normal.

The ability to do this was cited as one of their biggest challenges by both PD and Arunita during the Manzoor Dil BTS. They had to put in a lot of effort for practicing this, and the Octopus folks had been patient for that. The learning from that seems to have come in handy for Jai Ho Bhole and will do so in the future too.

I like this duet. One of their best on stage performance. They were more carefree at that time. PD even fumbled his line 😂 and then quickly fixed it. Govinda caught the fumble! I think teasing started just before this but the hashtag was probably made after this. There were other hashtags they used but this one stuck!

Then they got conscious with all the teasing! They became more serious in their duets.

In the last few weeks since I have been re-watching Indian Idol when possible, I have kept an eye out for this with the benefit if hindsight.

Up until the the Padmini Kolhapure / Poonam Dhillon episode they hardly interacted on camera. Or at least thet editors didn't seem to be interested in showing us whatever they were interacting. This episode was the first time they were shown sitting together but like strangers. That was episode 21.

Then Episode 24 was the Valentine's Day episode where they sang two duets : Pehla Nasha and Kya Yahi Pyaar Hai. Something seems to have just clicked leading up to this episode, probably during the practice. They are just blushing all the time while performing and the judges and guests notice their "chemistry" and comment on it.

Episode 26 was the LP episode when the teasing started for the first time. HR mentioned to Anjali that Arunita normally observes female contestants very closely but this time she was only watching PD on the dholak.

And then Episode 27 was this famous Govinda - Shakti Kapoor episode. And then the teasing just took off, even with Arunita's mother being on sets in all those episodes. A big example of that was the Ajay Atul episode (29) when HR told Arunita wahaan kuchh jal raha hai kya... mujhe laga tumhara dil jal raha hai".

Here is a brief on the crazy US schedule! I had forgotten that in the middle of this tour we are going to have a time change - Spring forward - we lose an hour!
