I don't understand the doormat concept tbh😆. I mean even Solo Virat stans are fed up of doormat theory in twitter. I don't get why they call her doormat, for me she's a fierce being now who's moving heaven and earth to save her husband.
Once pointed out by one of my mutuals in twitter, Sai left Virat when she found him wrong or having an affair. She didn't cry or beg to him to leave Shruti and come back to him rather she wanted his happiness (that's a different thing that Virat's happiness is with her). She even told CN to accept Shruti and Virat. It shows how Sai values her self respect more than anything yet she was heartbroken for losing her love.
And now, when she knew she was wrong, she bravely accepting her mistakes and apologising for it. Family's treatment is worse, still she's bearing cause she wants to be with the man who she loves and moreover she has an additional guilt that she's the reason why Virat is in a Near Death Experience. In earlier episode she told, that last time he was injured because of his mission but this time his mission was only she, which actually is increasing her guilt factor but she's still putting up a brave face to save her husband, which is a sign of Fierce Sai. She even told, if not for Virat's condition, she would not have feared Pakhi too. It's a serial, and for drama they can't remove Chavans but I am sure once Virat's okay, she would definitely call out Chavans.
P.S. One thing I can infer from recent episodes, Sai actually gets strength from Virat to fight with the family otherwise actually she's powerless. That's something I observed during Pulkit's kidnapping, Saree drama and now. She feels helpless in his absence.
Even Virat gets strength from Sai to fight with his family.
I agree with you. When Sai gives it back to Virat and Chavans she's called fierce and is hailed. But,the moment she accepts her mistakes and apologises she's termed as a doormat. Is being apologetic and standing with Virat is so bad specially when she knows she was the reason for this situation? I guess people love to see a fierce Sai without any remorse, guilt and unapologetic. Is this the way every girl should behave? Or am I from old school? I guess it's better to be termed as old school than being fierce in these so called 21st century times.
