Yes, you are right. Abhi did realize that she has unconditional love for everyone. I feel he even likes that quality of hers. His problem is when that unconditional love for her family becomes a barrier for her to accept abhi’s love. I feel he is okay with her loving her family unconditionally but he also wants her to love him unconditionally and not back out when her family demands such a sacrifice from her. The problem is that her unfortunately her family doesn’t have that unconditional love for ak. They want her to give up abhi (their reasons are partially justified though)

Though she didn't tell him intentionally that her chosing him is always dangerous for her family but it went that way. Once Manish accepts him for Akshu he will be happy but from her side his insecurities need to be reassured in her style once she knows he is hurt by her words.

Yaar whatever akshu said today abhi knows them already. He is so good at understanding her that he can even feel the difference in the breaths she takes. But still her saying it out like that messed him up. He already know she left home for aarohi. He already know that she easily blames things on her and consoled her about it during resignation time.

I bet akshu will blame a car accident on a road side over her head as if she can predict people future.
