For so many years there was absolutely no reference about Kartik and Naira Goenka.

Since 100 episodes not once did Akshara mention why she is so insecure to Abhimanyu. Nor has Manish Goenka spoken about his son.

Isn't it odd?

Are the writers trying to regain or retain trps?

I think they’ve all forgotten that Kartik exists. Also, for Kairav drawing the comparison to Sirat was easy but he looked a little taken aback when Mimi pointed out she’s like Naira too!

Naira, despite her flaws, never lost confidence in herself. I think it's because Naira lived alone for so long that she wasn't afraid of losing things as much - she knew she could be alone and suffice. When she reunited with the Maheshwari's and Singhania's her tina became a sherni that protected somebody other than herself.

But Akshu never saw her mom be that sherni and so, Kairav never expected this 'sherni' roop from her. She saw Sirat who tried to make a place for herself - a place independent of Naira's because no one could convince me that Sirat didn't respect Naira - in the Goenka house but couldn't really except in Swarna, Kairav, and Akshu's heart. The fact that she wasn't Naira made her insecure and weak, and her daughters saw and were impacted by that. On top of that, Sheela terrible upbringing brought on a layer of shame that she couldn't shed despite trying so hard.

In the face of Sirat's past, Akshu's been trying to keep both her moms alive whereas Aarohi competed against Naira's reminder, Akshu.

I think this is what elderly do, whenever they find you do something similar to your parents, they do point it out.

I think maybe it’s too painful for Manish and the others to mention Kartik and Naira to the kids. Kartik was Manish son and Manish lost Kartik in his old age and perhaps had never expected that he’d be the one to bury his son and not the other way around.

Didnt someone said here on the forum that Manish had once said that he sees Kartik in Abhimanyu?
