I don't think there is a lake BTS. They likely shot on the Aarey Road. And there is Powai lake there. Bas wohi dekha hoga sab ne.

I don't think the lake has any significance.

One scene i thought was significant was she says chod mera haath. She says this close to 3 times and each time he says nahi chodunga.

Now from the time they have been married even when he hates her he has always .. i mean always rightfully held her hand. And never once has she jerked it off or told him to leave.

Each time she said it here notice his expression. It was pinching him.
