can you imagine the UPROAR if we made a new topic saying
AKSHU THE FAKE SHERNI IS REALLY A BOY IN DISGUISE
i mean i would love to see something that progressive in this show but the ABHIRA fans would have a heart attack

Not being part of the CC of course but this fixation on jija... I'm just so fascinated and horrified by the counterpoint reactions, I keep trying to figure out what in the name of heck they see in this dreadful character.
Even in the early episodes when i thought he was an attractive and interesting character, Abhimanyu lacked charm. I was really responding more to HC than Abhimanyu who (as austen pointed out I think) was on the off-putting side from the start due to his brusqueness and the extremeness of his responses.
And his arrogance and self righteousness.. That too were apparent from the start.. Sometimes I think maybe these writers and HC actually do know what they're doing character sketch-wise and HC is really getting it right to a poiint.. The portrayal of this "flawed" character.
Difference is his flawed-ness is seen as unacceptable by us and the fans think otherwise..something that can be redeemed by his soul wala love for akshu..
My father always quoted a Hindi (I think) poem to us about how forgiveness is only gracious from someone who is in a position to enact punitive measures. Forgiveness out of helplessness because a person lacks the power to do anything about the wrong is not a virtue.
And sometimes saying sorry just doesn't cut it if there's no restitution associated with it. What's the point of saying sorry after killing someone's parents or children in an accident? It's just completely meaningless.
I agree with you completely - this culture of apology and forgiveness is very performative

i hate this forgiveness culture and MAAFI MANGNA it sounds like a dumb lecture that AKSHU would give š¤£
like JIJA asking for MAAFI from BADE PAPA made me want to š¤¢

It was just more attention - seeking.. He would've had a better chance if he'd written a decent apology note and left like the Inspector said.. But no.. Jija wants the attention. He likes the tamasha

JIJA was cringey and PSYCHO from DAY 1 but these traits just became worse and worse
what we see as unbearable character traits are being celebrated by fans who want HOT ROMANCE and will lap up any grovel they get
like THROW A STARVING DOG A PARLE G BISCUIT š¤£

Right! His note was basically the epitome of Sorry Not Sorryš
He even drew a smiley face under it!

This is true.. And unless the wronged person is given some way for him to have the upperhand and then he is able to choose what he will do, we can't ascertain the level of his virtue.
