I don’t know why, I get the feeling the red bangles are not Priya’s but Disha’s wedding bangles which she is now removing in keeping with the Parmar/Vaidya family traditions & the show is prolly capitslising on that.

Coz they dont show Shivi wearing the chooda, right?

They show shivi wearing chooda as well.

And disha is not wearing her chooda because in the beginning of the show priya was not wearing one and disha was newly married at that time.

So it's priya's chooda not disha's.

Nopes its Priya's not Disha's

Shivi does wear it when she wears her normal clothes only like ovcassions she removes it like the V'Day party

Disha real reels & pics with her husband she is not wearing it

My dear people, just please tell me about this ceremony, I am very interested to know how it really works. And help with a new RaYa story that I'm thinking about in honor of this moment

So it's a Punjabi family tradition that after a certain time period of a marriage a rasam is organised by the ladies of the family where the new bride takes off her chooda given to her by her maternal uncle and the bride's MIL presents her with gold bangles as a gift as a symbol for long life of her son.

It is usually the girl's wish or her in laws wish when she takes it off. Mostly it is done either after 40 days of marriage or on the 1st anniversary of the couple. The bride is presented by a lot of gifts by the family members from both sides like new cloths, jewellery, sweets( which is consider as shagun).

And it marks the ending of new bride period of the girl. After this rasam the is no longer consider as a new family member but just a family member. She is no longer a newly wedded girl but a marriage woman.

I hope i was able to explain to the best. But if you have doubts feel free to ask away.
