Agastya's final plan is kill Ishaan, trap Pakhi, so that there is no going back. For that plan to go well, he needs to remain the loyal, loving friend in everyone's eyes.

I think Agastya will create the situation where Pakhi's dad has to beg him to marry pakhi or else khandaan aur beti ki izaat mitti mein mil jayegi !!! In that case, Agastya ka plan v sucessful hojayega aur uski goody goody image v intact rahegi aur reputation aur jyada badh badh jayega pakhi k family k aage. Without tarnishing his own image......
