Amazing episode in all regards.

The dance sequence at the start was really beautiful. Both Abhi and Akshu remember their dream sequence and say that all of their dreams are turning into reality. Abhi uses her bracelet to make music. They zoom into a snow globe that is cracked and scratched on the outside, but the couple is together on the inside. This is so symbolic of their relationship— the outside world is chaotic, but they are standing by each other.

Manish comes and takes Akshu and Kairav away, and bechara Abhi says that there is a kaand during every festival… he is speaking our language now. Anisha sends him with the Goenkas to make sure that Akshu and Kariav are okay.

Manish was so out of line today in all regards. He cares more about what society is going to think at this point than his own children’s happiness. Even Swarna said thank god no one else saw them. They kept on saying Birla vs. Goenka. They are so bent on protecting their happiness, that they are ignoring their children’s pain. Today, Akshu and Kairav stood up for each other, and they found out that it was Aarohi who exposed them. This is a huge step in the right direction. Their bonding today was what we have been wanting to see this entire time.

Abhi actually arrives very calmly and asks Manish if they can talk respectfully, because he is tired of fighting. But, Manish does not listen and tries to close the gates, which Abhi ends up overpowering. Abhi spoke facts today, saying that Manish is asking his kids to sacrifice their love for their family. Manish spoke extremely foreshadowing words today— that if Abhi was a part of a different family, he would accept him, because the Birlas hate Akshu. Again, I am damn sure that somehow this will come true through whatever the adoption kaand ends up being and the truth will come out right before marriage.

Akshu does not go inside with Manish and the rest of the family, and remains standing in between Abhi who is locked outside of the gate by Manish and the family who is indoors. Again, so symbolic. She won’t leave either. The look of relief on Abhi’s face was so pure today when Akshu didn’t leave. Finally, they are in this together.

At the very end of the episode, the diamond kaand explodes, and it seems that Manish knows it is because of Harsh, because he calls the police on Abhi. This is disgusting behavior coming from an adult — punishing Abhi for what his father did.

Precap has Akshu running towards Abhi but falling… Abhi catches her and accidentally hits the police officer. I told everyone not to worry about the promo. The roles are reversed, and this is all leading to Akshu’s final stand against her family. She will not tolerate anything happening to Abhi. Her leaving her family behind and running towards Abhi in the precap foreshadows what is about to happen.
