Its not cupid as such.. its just a connection with mythology that how shivji got enraged nd destroyed kama deva.. similarly som incident will provoke him to lose his temper with sombdy who can end up with serious health issues..nd later regret for his action.. it can be harsh or manish or that cupid weird guy..
Consequence is most probably abhi will back off a bit as he feels it might affect ak a lot..
This is really beautiful dear. I just wrote something quite similar in another thread. Especially about Abhi's words about the tears in the episode.. is was quite foreshadowing.

When Abhi says that those we cry for, we become closer to. I thought this was both showing that Abhira will be crying for each other next, which will bring them closer... as that has been shown with them throughout the show. It is a recurring theme that the harder they try to fight each other and stay away, the closer they are drawn. They themselves said that. Also, in that same scene, Abhi saw how much Akshu misses her mom. He knows bade papa is even more important to her because of that, so if he thinks that the heart attack is because of him, he will feel so deeply guilty that Akshu will have to be the one to fight for him and take him out of that.
