It’s a very misunderstood concept. I do not think that’s true. By this concept, Shashank is also a scientist and then his behavior will also come under same category. On the contrary it depends on a personality which can not be generalized or scrutinized by any profession or discipline. Any one can have any kind of complex and a specific profession can not be blamed for it. People like netra will behave in a same manner with their own colleagues/ lab-staff/ lab co-workers, those will also be science students. It has shown in the show itself.

Also if this logic is believed to be true then another side of the coin would be “ arts and commerce student will have inferiority complex and no confidence. So bottom line it’s a myth.

Unfortunately it's not a myth IMO....my friend's father forced her to go into Science stream only because everybody in the family did the same and he looked down upon Commerce and Arts. If anybody scores 95% in SSC and goes in Arts stream, people look at that kid with shock. There are some pre concieved notions in our society...though they are not as prevalent nowadays as they were few years back.

Especially Marathi manoos always thinks it in terms of what is the ROI of the education they're getting....and invariably arrive at the conclusion that Science offers best ROI ( I don't believe that's true).

You're partly right, those studying in Arts and Commerce write off Math and Science as if it's beyond their mental capacity...which is completely wrong.

Not all there are some

Even 60% wala can do science and 100% one can do arts but the thing is interest

Personal experience I can admit ki yes science is not easy but so is arts and commerce some ppl has just prioriterise it and nothing else just like netra

The problem with her is she think she is best bcus she has studied science and even she is good in studies and she compared herself with appu they have shown her as a failures that thing have hit hear on nerve bcus she is on a concept that a partners are choosen by degree if boy is doctor then girl must be a doctor

If we see carefully Almost all her dialogue are stating that how much good she is in studies that apurva
