Yaad is out on audio streaming platforms now. I love the music and singing. Hard to say much about the lyrics because it is in Kumaoni - that might play against the song becoming a huge hit because people may not be able to sing along.
The song starts with a simple acoustic guitar and then more instruments are added as the song builds up. That has given a great effect to the song overall.
Even at 4 minutes, the song feels short because the overall feel and music is quite nice.
I like this song much more than all the recent HR songs. I would give it 9 out of 10.

This is just incredible!! How happy I am to see that music director has created something that maximises her potential!! She really deserves more such music directors. I had said some months back that the "South" film and music industry is more experimental than Bollywood - and here is a brilliant example of that!
