Okay crazy theory uploading here just cause its fun.

We know how rocky Harshvardhan and Manjari's marry life is. Maybe Harshvardhan had some girlfriend in the pass or he cheated on Manjari and Abhi is the child from one of those relationships. Harshvardhan has no idea about the child. Manjari is pregnant and goes back to her in-laws house so she can be taken care of but ends up losing the baby. But she ends up finding Abhi and adopts him. And then carrys on this charade that he is her child.

She gets pregnant again and goes back to in laws without anyone knowing she is pregnant maybe some big fight happens betwen Harshvardhan and her or some other big issue. She has Neil and leaves him at the orphanage so she can put her attention in raising Abhi. But much later she realizes she cannot live without her own child so she goes and adopts him back on the pretext that Abhi needs a brother.

So Abhi is the illegitimate child adopted in. Neil is the real son between Manjari and Harshvardhan but everyone thinks he is the adopted.

He doesn’t know....

Manjari came to know about Harsh affair...

Then when she met his Girlfriend.... she came to know that she has a child.... and doesn’t want a child right now because she can be a career women.... Harsh of course
will be attracted towards career oriented women....

Manjari tried to find the child..... and when she found out.... she adopted Neil.... and she brought him in Birla house....

That is why Abhi knows about Harsh affair and Neil being the illegitimate child.... that is why he hates his father because he cheated Manjari her mother.... and treats Neil with love and care because its not his fault....

In fact in the starting of the show shey showed that Abhi doesn’t believe in love and marriage.... Harsh cheated Manjari ..... can be one of the reasons...

But Akshara changed him.... she made him believe in true love and in marriage....
