yep, that's the reason I said - if there were only 8 teams - no one would've picked him. Other than CSK no one were even bothered about him. Look at this domestic record too, its bad if not worse for the last 3-4yrs.

Smith is more consistent than Morgan. Morgan has been bad for a long while now - even for England, the only matches he scored were against lesser ranked teams. Morgan is the England captain, they have to for his captaincy skills not for his batting in the last 2-3 yrs.

I agree

Smith ka I was shocked and Morgan ka understable tha bcoz KKR ne bhi usse last season jhela tha he didn't performed at all.

I don't follow other team and players ka performance but I felt Smith was doing fine.

This way it feels so bad ๐Ÿ˜ญ

graceful exits in Indian players is quite a rarity.. look at from the days of Kapil, players had to be forced out .. even Sachin was way past his prime, when he retired ๐Ÿ˜’

But that is not what CSK is all about ?

They trust those who no else even thinks about and they become big names for them.

They never take or leave players on their few match or even a season ka performance.

When Faf, CSK ka part bana tha not many knew about him, Jaddu came in with a bad record, Watson and Moein came in after being benched for the season and many more but they became such a important people for the team.

People were crying from yesterday about CSK ka purchases but I trust them except for Raina not being brought back and they not fighting for Faf ( which I think would be reason that RCB gave him Captaincy, that's why they backed off ) I am happy with CSK team.

They have brought back the core team, experience and youngsters too this time.

even Sehwag tweeted about Ravi & Buttler about being same squad ๐Ÿ˜†

During WC team selection Vijay Shakar was taken by selectors as they called him 3D player instead of Rayudu even when he was doing quite good.

So baad mein Rayudu ne tweet kiya tha 3D player as VS doomed in WC.

So inka beech bhi there is drama ๐Ÿ˜†

Lets agree to disagree ๐Ÿคฃ

Faf was a very vital part of South African team even before he became part of CSK. He was the captain of SA, after Graeme Smith, short stint of Amla & later ABD.

Watson international career revived thanks to IPL. He was part of RR & some other team, Punjab ? which revived his international career, he was dropped from Aus due to his repeated failures. After Hayden retired, Watson kicked on for CSK, later Faf - many had written him off due to his previous failures with his earlier franchise.

Moeen was part of RCB earlier, now do we need to talk further ๐Ÿคฃ Lets see how many players RCB has helped - especially internationals ? Almost none other than ABD, lately Maxwell now. Moeen was either benched or rarely played with RCB but yeah CSK gave him more chances & he was a shining star.

But yeah in general dad's army is good at giving chances to older players - which other franchises hardly do & most of them have repaid their faith.
