Farewell, Suresh Raina
Meanwhile, let's not forget:
So I was thinking ki iss saal finally Sheldon Jackson will get to play bcz we have no other WK ๐
But now Sam Billings is here ๐คฃ Bechara will be benched again ๐คช
Raina not getting buyers still samjh aaya but why Smith and Finch got nothing ?
They are still nice players and are being consistent and also have been part of National team in recent time.

@Bold: I don't agree with this
Even if they were allowed they will still be foreigner and more than 4 can't be played in 11.
It is always sensible to get good 6 foreign players and many Indian players but KKR was in another tangent and don't know what they were planning and KKR ka yeh naya nahi hain.
It is happening from the time Gambhir left KKR and the team never look stable after he left.
yeah I know, I said earlier - we don't have enough Indian quality players to fill all the teams - in the previous years, half the good players were bench-warming this year reverse, scarcity of players - otherwise who would pick some of the selected players for over above 4 crores, forget 7+ for them ๐ May be BCCI should consider increasing the overseas player limit to 5 next year, if they don't want the IPL quality to be pheeki pheeki. More teams means more players, lesser quality.
if Pak players were available options we had were - Shadab Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Mohd Rizwan, Shoaib Malik, Shaheen, Ashraf, Babar -> easy picks for most of the sides & guys like Shaheen & Shadab would've got automatic entry into the 4 selected overseas players slots.

@bold: Exactly. I miss Gambhir era so much bcz that was KKR at its peak. Uske baad se the team never has any structure... they barely get by.
Let's not talk about Raina ka farewell.
He has got a trophy last season and could have been the best time to leave but leaving like this when by being unsold on Auction table is bad.
I really hope CSK does something.

are you watching repeat telecast version Viswasruti ? Auction completed more than half hr ago, I was watching the last couple of hrs live - the last player he listed was unsold. There was fun banter when Arjun Tendulkar name came in, Mumbai Bid for base price of 20L, I think Kings or Titans bid for 25L - Ambanis said something - not audible everyone was laughing in the nearby tables - they bid for 30L finally
I am expecting the same dear.Originally posted by: Palak2812

Sam Billings is not a full time keeper, he's more like KL Rahul. They can play both if they want to.
