Thank You.
I saw a few episodes of the Bengali serial. I wish to state that all leads have a detailed character graph. No defective family relationships. The regional writer penned down the tracks between 3 characters and weaved in the others.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata has a legacy. The first generation was sorted out. The second apart the love story had plenty of rotten apples. 3rd generation is dysfunctional.
New additions to the show are far more complex than the original characters
For displaying complexity, the actors have to be competent enough. Karishma is doing a neat job.
Mayank is not giving the right expressions.
Kairav has no spine. Pranali has to prove herself in faceoffs. She need not shout and scream.
Abhimanyu has to undo his own tangles. As per ethics he does not have any say.
@bold I agree on parts of the bolder part. Mayank is not really acting if he is capable of only having one expression of frown and Kairav has no spine.
however, Karishma va Pransli…Pransli is doing a far better job as far as acting is concerned. She has displayed a wider range of emotions and expressions are on point. Karishma has been able to show only evil aspect perfectly. In fact, Karishma has to improve upon her angry acting lol in the temple scene she was screaming like a banshee and was all over the place. I don’t blame her for not being able to show range of emotions as that is the writer’s fault …first she was black n then white…her whole character graph revolved around bringing akshara down directly or indirectly n take her place n now in being a James Bond and apparently the most concerning sister ever lol …karishma shows definite promise but she has a long way to go…
As far as sbhimanyu is concerned, Harshad is doing a fab job with whatever he is being given by the writers barring dance…he is weak there …he is superb in intense love scenes …n I refuse to mock him for air hearts lol that is on the writers lol…their whole TRP right now is because of harshad n pranali
