Better than I expected (my bar wasn't high tbh 😆), but it's painfully obvious that Alia wants to be Deepika so bad lol... even in the trailer her look in that "Gangubai goo khati hai kya" part was straight out of Ram Leela....

It's weird how she started her career trying to copy Kareena, then slowly moved on to copying Deepika...

The Deepika thing is definitely more persistent though, and weirder considering she's dating Ranbir now too ...

That would have been much better... I don't like Alia but she did seem ok for the role in the younger parts to be fair...

But in the older parts she looked so horribly miscast that you know someone like SLB who prioritises aesthetics over pretty much everything would never have wanted it this way...

I feel it's solely because of certain people insisting that *everything* has to be all about Aloo baby here that they didn't cast any older actress for the later parts 😆...

Come to think of it even in that upcoming movie with her, Kat and PC being three friends on a road trip or something like that her role seems to have been meant for Deepika...

Was thinking ehhh for most of the song, but wow at the last minute! Did all that in one shot! Impressive!

there is no change / cut in the scene. I think from 1:37 till end.

Alia isn't some fantastic dancer, hence it's understandable why her steps almost look like she's jumping. That & her face which isn't mature enough for such a role but apart from this 2 things, everything is going for her in this song. She got the mood right. Especially, that chakars bit, her expression was good there. Portraying inner troubles n all that.

The song is ok ish. More like a situational song. Weirdly, I could actually imagine DP in this song, something she would fit in quite well but anyway.

The song was mostly a repeat, but that last bit with her doing circles in anger was good. Alia emoted well, but the dance was meh.

Nothing unique about the song. Same ol same ol stuff we’ve heard multiple times before from SLB. At least those previous songs had powerful music, beautiful lyrics and overall were superhit songs right from the word go.

This seems like a dead tired remake + mishmash of both of them which falls flat.
