I heard that the remakes of telugu n tamil have less romance than the original versions.even tamil serials have less romance compared to hindi.they also improved in romance only in the recent times.earlier also there were remakes of tamil n telugu in malayalam. But there was no romance.but in last few years they are girly influenced by hindi shows.The rain dance in pranayam shocked the tamil viewers also that time n even in the tamil version it was not there.
so thats why manjil is dragging.Ente kuttikalude achan is a remake.

That’s because majority are remakes from Bengali, Hindi, Tamil & Telugu. Asianet, Zee & Surya Tv all shows are remakes. Only Mazhavil Manorama has original content which unfortunately doesn’t have ratings. Marimayam & Thattem Muttem runs the channel. Among daily soaps Manjil Virinja Poovu has some ratings. But compared to other channels it’s less.

Mushy mushy romance is off late. It was initially in Hindi shows. In Hindi it started with Kutumb (somewhere in 2000s). It’s coming to south off late.
In MM only one show is remake where all others are original whereas in Asianet, Zee & Surya majority of shows are remakes.
We did have remakes in past but not like in present situation where almost 95% in a channel is a remake.
Actually I wa not talking about the nok jhok scenes in malayalam. I was saying that in malayalam they were showing intimate scenes.

yes previously I don’t think we had intimate scenes in tv serials. The first Malayalam tv serial I saw with intimate scenes was in Seetha (2017 - 2018). Quite bold scenes were there with Indran & Seetha post there marriage.
I have not seen the show.But I happened to see the pool scene.It was too bold for a malayalam show.Chocolate n padatha painkili toi had bold scenes.

Even I didn’t watch Seetha. But happened to see few romantic moments from Instagram. First night and all was really bold.
Padatha Painkili & chocolate never watched both shows.
