I remember in school that we had some inaugural function and in that I had also participated and there was a musical and in that the main guy who played the hunter couldn't act at all and would keep smiling in all his scenes but even when many of us asked the teacher to remove him she did not because he was the son of the District Magistrate and could not be insulted. I have the same feeling about the person playing the role of the Stalker. She has some connection that makes her indispensable even at the cost of the show.

The show, TSBTSP is now having 28 minutes episodes this week and is being rushed which gives me the feel that the end is near plus I saw a BTS where the cast is shown to be cutting a cake even though that cake seems to be part of the upcoming track but still.

And TSBTSP is not as lucky as Mollki which again got an extension, a channel change and has been saved from being axed after actually being axed and wrapping up shooting. Much can be said about the Balaji clout.

I am posting after a long time because I would like to say something about today's episode and tomorrow's as well. What an episode it was and will be. Kajol is so restrained and yet the way she deals with Priyanka was fire which was restrained but able to inflict the desired burn 👏👏 and the love and affection she gives Anurag by her support is beautiful to watch.😍😍

This is what we had signed up for not a shouter like Sai or Anupama's monologues (though I love them) but an independent girl who knows what is right and wrong and can take decisions with her inner strength. Who speaks with restraint but is able to deal with all types of challenges.

Flashbacks are scenes I believe they would have put in but couldn't because of story change I think, because really are we having some event like the movie "Inception" taking place where they meet in their dreams and make those memories.

This week has been Kajol's show and I am glad because I am tired of Anurag to be honest. Even though he is shown suffering now and is trying to be sacrificial and all, but his whole holding on to Kajol when it was a futile situation just destroyed the character for me completely and yes if the show ends and I decided to revisit it sometime in the future maybe I might not be so against him. But as of now for me this show is only Kajol's show. And man is Ishita delivering. She is Kajol at moments and not someone who is loud and direct but someone with immense patience and a huge core of positivity even in the face of huge adversity. She is calm and knows what she wants, she can sacrifice her love for another because she has empathy and compassion. But she is also unwavering in that love. Tomorrow's episode is a must watch just to see Kajol and Priyanka's face off. We see the inner self of Kajol that we saw in the beginning and we see her take on Priyanka in her own decidedly restrained manner.

@Arivarshi - All I can say is I agree with you. Actress portraying Stalker must have top tier connections...hell she will probably go on last day & I dont want or need a redemption scene..just go.

I agree that I honestly dont think this show will go beyond March - I was expecting it to end in Jan & its quite ironic that as show is ending they up the ante and improve scenes and plotlines by 99%...

They wont drag out Anurag's paralysis scenes for too long esp if only a few more weeks left & if not shooting more episodes then they have already planned the end.

Flashbacks are a bit out of context...they were on/off/on in relationship so when did they ever meet privately & that too in Anurag's bedroom in dancing scene today?

We have seen what happened to Anurag ...he indeed almost died.

Will the same happen here too ?? Will Kajol leave when Anurag is on his feet again ??

Sometimes its really hard to get these heavy dialogues, becoz most of the times they mean nothing symbolically, but are just there for the sake of being there....so its quite difficult to grasp.

And Kajol dialogues honestly dont make sense to me: on one hand she says she will stay till Anurag can walk again and WHAT AFTER THAT ??

Then again she says she will not leave even if Anurag kicks her out.....so I assume she talks abt this period that he is still dependent....

And then again she says she regrets not fighting hard enough for her love.....so the question is : what is the exact meaning of what, coz frankly I am maha confused....

But as @wynn said I also have the feeling that she will leave after Anurag gets well unless there is a wedding before that...

@wynn: About Anurag being angry becoz Kajol gave up easily....well he is at fault too, becoz he never disclosed to her the real reason for marrying tht bitch. If Kajol gave up, than Anurag is equally at fault for bringing Kajol to the point of giving up...., the knife cuts both ways....

If only he had opened his mouth to tell her about the blackmailing part instead of letting her think tht psychopath will kill herself if she didnt get Anurag, the situation could hv been different.

So Anurag should be angry at himself first for thinking tht Kajol is not capable of handling the blackmailing shit and rather took that decision for her than to be angry at Kajol for giving up on them...

@Esha, agree with your highlighted post...responsibility goes both ways but that is character trait of Anjol remember? Each sacrifices for the other; its what is part of the attraction they saw in each other. Not self sacrifice but sacrifice for the greater good

Ah, this post describes some part of what I felt this week accurately. Like you said and like I mentioned earlier this is the show I had wanted to watch, and it’s so positive this week.

What’s refreshing for me about this week is that for a long while, before Anurag’s character became one clown and was actually good, I was still tired because he was always saving the day and like you said I was here to watch this core of positivity, resilient and restrained Kajol first. This shift in dynamic is great and watching Kajol this week feels good. I’m also happy to see another positive relationship in Kajols life that is Bulti and Apu. Bulti is really onto something and I don’t think she’ll let these two separate again

That said I am not entirely such a huge fan of Kajol yet as well, because for me a lot of her decisions come across to me as that of someone with less will power to do what was right which was being glorified by writers in the name of her being abla naari and kind, and I’m unable to cheer the whole sacrificing her love for someone else types decisions. But I’m enjoying this track because they’re showing more of the character I had initially expected Kajol to be, losing her inhibitions about what people say, getting out of her comfort zone, being resilient despite major adversity.

The stalker face off was good, but despite how sharp Kajol was I was a bit underwhelmed by that scene because she was still talking more like a well wisher rather than a stronger, don’t ever mess with us way. But it’s definitely a great start. The highlights for me are the bonding scenes with Bulti, and definitely the way she’s so insistent with being around Anurag, both her attitudes here are so strong yet so vulnerable and just plain cute 💙💙

Longer episodes to cover up for some other show going off air

Today's epi another well executed one to watch..

It's so good to watch like 2 episodes at a go till it's back to its normal time duration on 14th Feb..

Anurag heart nowadays is like a pendulum sometimes all care/love for kajol and next back to the angry man..

The tea spilled scene on one side we get to see how Anurag panicked and wanted to stand up..Its his natural instinct the concern about kajol and later back to his taunts to her.This behaviour is because he wants to treat kajol like a queen but not as his nurse ..

Next day Anurag keeping an eye on entrance door ...The more he wants to send her away from him the more his heart feelings defeats him..Its a lost war for him esp it was so good to see kajol giving him some reality check..

Kajol/Priyanka face off it was great to see kajol answering her back..Only thing that made the scene a bit underwhelming despite having a good performer like ishita is the other actress..She kind of ruined the impact of that scene with same dialogues delivery and facial expression..

Kajol will surely succeed to convince that hospital director and get Anurag back to work..This will be his motivation to fight back and to recover ..

I think this will be how he will get that award coming next in the show.

Precap......I feel Anurag planned that dinner for kajol and that other guy....waiting to see kajol's reaction ..

It looks like the actors not shooting for the show so might be the end track will be Anjol wedding..

Let's see as no confirmation date of the show ending..

@Savee; am liking track even if show is coming to an end as we all suspect anytime in next few weeks...so today I am a little cross as all shows at wrong time due to rescheduling, will have to watch epi if it records overnight. I managed to see bits and pieces..again Kajol managing to stand up to Anurag no matter how much he is trying to push her away..glad she is getting independence in driving as well.& a friend and sister in Bulti - hope Bulti & Apu keep supporting Kajol.

Yes I agree Kajol will.somehow with Abishek who thankfully if not openly supporting Kajol does not oppose her and at least willing to lend his support because he does know Kajol has Anurag's best intentions at heart. Kajol will get the medical director to agree to Anurag coming back into theatre - Kajol is in the right track of understanding how to motivate Anurag...she understands more than Sharmilla and Abishek

Finally the standoff with stalker...at long last Kajol is claiming Anurag as her own..she wont back off now despite stalkers insults or threats but right now Anurag is both emotionally under stress and not in the right frame of mind to think about settling with Kajol

The fact that he loves her is not disputed its just that I feel he thinks he will be permanently disabled and hence is ousting her out or trying his best to but not getting anyway fast

Precap made me laugh - dinner at 9.30pm ohh how long have I waited for the day Anurag breaks his rule of no eating after 7pm...right from his entry epi and no post dinner past 7pm ( I bet that's intermittent fasting 😀) for Kajol...but Kajol...no no no Anurag is not going to dinnner with you and he is not going to propose again for the 4th & you wont get to say yes again for the third time just now...you can in a couple of weeks & perhaps if its leap year Kajol csn propose to Anurag😀😀😀 . Dinner is Anurag setting Kajol up for dinner with his friend in the mistaken belief that Kajol needs to move on

I so want Kajol to turn the situation over when she understands what Anurag is doing & pretend to take an interest in new man but Kajol is not the type to play games so she wont pretend...but ohh how I wish to see Anurag burn with jealousy for once for Kajol😃😃😃

Saw yesterday and the latest episode, Anurag is in Kal ho na ho/Hum Tum redux mode of setting up the girl he likes with someone else who is crushing on her. I would really like Anurag to heal from this trauma and feelings of worthlessness even before he’s back on his feet and get back with Kajol even if he’s still unclear about whether he’ll recover or not. If he gets back with Kajol and feels better about himself only once his feet are working, that would be a very ableist approach by the writers and the focus should be on him continuing with the relationship regardless of what he knows about his future health . That would also be a very strong kind of love

Shoutout to Ishita for a very good performance, what I like best is she’s not fallen into the ITV trap of making their heroines overact until exhaustion (I haven’t watched their shows but glimpses from promos and occasionally when I turn the tv on). Also sorely missing Swaroopa Ghosh (Kajol’s pishima) these days- Swaroopa Ghosh is so brilliant, I think these guys are truly lucky to have gotten her on board this show. As usual, solid performances by Karan, as also other supporting cast like Bulti.

@quickspicysauce... Anurag still want to be the shield of kajol but that's not the way to proceed ..

Agree with you I so hope creatives focus on this scenario of Anurag not letting go so easily because of his health but do give a name to his and kajol relationship..This will be like you say a very strong kind of love and Anurag will be lucky to have kajol as such a strong pillar of support.
