I don't think Parth and Abhi are the same in this case. Parth did not want to become a doctor and only finished his MBBS just to appease his parents and he did not practice and highly likely never practised after he has finished his internship and training. Abhi, on the other hand, loved the hospital and loved being a doctor. Parth defiance was because he did not want to become a doctor and did not enjoy the profession and was forced to becoming a doctor. Abhi defiance is because Harsh said a lot of things and insults about Akshara and her family. If he had not done so then Abhi's threats of leaving the hospitals will be just empty threats.

Also, I think the reason why Parth wanted Abhi to go back to the hospital is not because he wanted someone to take that responsibility of taking care the hospital but rather because he knows that Abhi loved being in the hospital and that the hospital is where Abhi belongs too. Both of the cousins are stubborn in their stand I reckon and we cannot judge the situation using the same parameters.

what I meant what was,,,,now Abhi is doing the thing he wants to do, Pr uncle will be ltlttle more upset with Manjai...yes abhi is there to protect her but we have seen how he treats Manjari when abhi isn't around..

and Parth should consider doing things for himself. if he doenst want to go to hospital its fine (he keeps saying that)..if he understands how much abhi loves hospital,,,he also shown to love music and gardening. I think its high time now that he should do something with free time with his passion...instead of reading newspaper and get toasted by people and his own wife for not working.

I agree with you, Parth can't just sit there and do nothing and let his parents taunt him and his wife called him as someone who just read the newspaper every single morning and do nothing but proclaims his love for music and gardening. He looks more like an old grandpa in their retirement and finding the joy in life in those things. I mean if he loved music then he should be singing or I don't know play a chord, join a band and sing somewhere; if he loved gardening then maybe he can become horticulturist and sell some flowers and trees etc. That's much better than doing nothing and living off the largess of Birla's funds and wealth. To be honestly speaking even Manjiri is working. Everybody refuses to say it out loud and admit it but this Birla house did not run by itself; it was run by Manjiri. She was the one who cooks, she was the one who managed the staffs in the Birla house; she was the one who took care of the Birla's children when they were growing up. Yes, her job was underrated to say the least but she did a great job in raising Abhi and she did a great job in taking care of Parth and Nishta.
