Raavi's heart breaks seeing Shiva so broken. She pushes him back a little and cups his face to make him look at her. His red eyes are full of pain and tears! The helplessness and exhaustion etched on his face shatters Raavi’s heart as she drops on her knees, too, and hugs him. She strokes his back with one hand and gently runs her fingers through his hair with the other. In that moment, Raavi forgets all about the events of the past couple of days as she tries to hide Shiva in her heart and protect him from the cruel and harsh world.
Shiva loses himself in Raavi's arms and hides his face in the crook of her neck, right above her heart. He feels her arms tightening around him and he tightens his arms around her. Out of all the people in this world, she is the only person who has the power to melt him like this, he thinks. And he doesn't mind as long as she doesn't let go. Her heartbeat calms him down a little. He feels her hand gently running up and down his back and her soft fingers brushing around the back of his neck. As exhaustion washes over him, he gives himself over to this wonderful and kind girl who he disrespected and yet, here she is trying to sooth away his agony.
The world stands still around them for a long time before Raavi stirs. Resting her back on the base of her bed, Raavi feels the calmness of Shiva's heart as he continues to hug her and hide his face right above her heart. She knows that they need to talk about everything that has happened but she can't bring herself to push him away. In that moment, she wishes to disappear somewhere with him leaving all the pain and anguish behind. But her mind rules over her heart as she softly says, "Shiva.."
Shiva doesn't want to look up and let her go. She is his safe haven and he wishes to hide in her arms forever. He tightens his arms around her and hides deeper in the crook of her neck. He feels Raavi wrapping her arm around his shoulder and gently touching his face with her soft hands.
"Shiva ..." she whispers again and this time she pushes him to face her.
He reluctantly lets her go and straightens up to look at her. Her sweet face is shadowed with exhaustion and her teary eyes are full of worry and hurt. He wipes the lingering tears off her face. He looks into those beautiful hazel eyes and his heart breaks seeing them filled with tears. He comes closer and kisses her eyes trying to take away all her pain and rests his forehead on hers.
Raavi feels Shiva's touch and loses herself in him. She could feel him trying to take her pain away. And she isn't surprised; after all, hasn't he always been her Knight in Shining Armor? He always protected her no matter how angry he was. When he rests his forehead on hers, she knows he is at peace. She opens her eyes and looks at him. His eyes are closed and his breathing quiet as if he has found his safe place. Her heart floods with so much love for him that she feels like it would explode. She cups his face and, once again, makes him look at her. When he does, she closes the distance between them and kisses him. She feels his shock for a tiny second but then he pulls her closer and deepens the kiss. He tightens his arms around her waist and strokes her back. She wraps her arms around his neck and runs her fingers through his hair. The searing kiss makes their bones melt as they lose themselves in each other.
After a long moment, though not long enough, Raavi places her hand on his heart and pulls away. He pulls her back and kisses her a couple more times before Raavi cups his face and rests her forehead on his. Breathing hard, Shiva opens his eyes and tucks her hair away and strokes the back of her head. He knows that she is lost in him and he wants to keep her there but the realization of where they are brings him back to reality. They need to talk; he needs to apologize.
"Mein kya Deewaar hu jo Chipkali ke jaise mujhse chipki hui hai?" he says teasing her and is relieved when she opens her eyes and chuckles.
Hearing him tease her, Raavi's heart fills with hope. Maybe things are not as bad as she thought; they will be alright, her heart assures her.
She looks at the shadow under his eyes and asks, "Tune khaana khaaya?"
Shiva nods no. Raavi gets up and opens her bag and takes out his clothes that she had accidently grabbed while packing her bag. She hands the clothes to him and asks him to freshen up while she goes to the kitchen to get dinner for the two of them. She doesn't want to eat or feed him anything that Prafulla made so she quietly makes four aloo-matar sandwiches and tea for them and takes it all to her room. When she comes back to the room with food, she sees that Shiva has showered and is looking at her open bag. She closes the door behind her and wonders what he is looking at. She puts the tray on the bed and walks over to him to see what's happening. She looks at her bag and is embarrassed!
Shiva looks at her and says, "Mujhe nahi pata tha ke tujhe mere kapde pehen ne ka itana shaukh hai!"
Raavi stammers and says, "Aree.. woh.. saare thodi tere hai? Mere dresses bhi toh hai!" and closes her bag and puts it away.
"Par mere kapde zyaada hai iss bag mein! Tu inhe kyu le aayi apne saath? Agar tujhe itane acche lagte hai mere shirts aur jeans toh seedhe seedhe maang leti!" Shiva says pulling her leg.
Raavi gets irritated and says, "Shiva, mein bohot gusse mein thi. Jo haath laga woh pack kar diya. Ab chal pehele khaan kha le!"
Shiva pulls her closer by the waist making Raavi shiver and whispers, "Mere shirt mein bohot acchi lagegi tu!"
Raavi looks into his eyes and feels shy! Shiva smiles seeing her blushing uncontrollably and kisses her forehead! Raavi steps back smiling and they sit down on the bed and eat. They both feel relieved realizing that they haven't lost each other but the elephant in the room that they're about to address chips away at that relief as they come closer to finishing their dinner.
