Trust me, I’m the same. One of the Uber drivers was Scottish and for the life of me, I couldn’t understand half of what he was saying, so I just kept nodding my head and giggling. I have this irrational fear of being kidnapped or killed when I’m alone in a strangers car, so I try to be extra friendly, hoping that I can become more human and less of an endangered specie in their eyes. 😆

it's just so different and if they have a strong accent, it's not pleasant AT ALL. And God help you if they keep calling you "girl" every other sentence, making you flinch every single time. 🤔

but i always wish i had a taser gun with me too. 😆 not just in cabs but everywhere, at my disposal, cuz you never know.

EDIT: OMFG. I just had a traumatic flashback of one of my FanFictions written during my teenage years. I think I made my hero say LASS a few times and the characters name was Maan Singh Khurana. WTF was I smoking.
