I didn’t know this. Michael C. Hall in a crime thriller playing a British character? That sounds really interesting! I’m in. I was looking for a limited series to watch anyway. Thank you!

Speaking of British dramas with bad endings, anyone watched Line of Duty? How can you ruin such a freakin good show with such a poor ending?!

An entire day would be way too much work for me but when I was done watching Pride and Prejudice, I was annoying everyone with the archaic language too. smiley36 and my sis annoys me after watching love island episodes.

I imagine the brit accent rolling automatically off your tongue for at least the first 15 mins after the movie though. I still can't tell the two apart .... not until those obvious vowel sounds give it away. 🤔

Watch limited web series from Harlan Coben Collection. There are many. Watched Stay Close from the collection and it was good.

Safe series is also from that collection.

Sadly most of the thrillers, suspense shows have bad endings. It's like Writers know how to go about twists and turns in a story but when it comes to endings they mess up big time. There are so many to name. It is frustrating to see crappy endings for a good favourite shows.

Omfg love island 😆. It is easy to fall into this trap of mimicking their accent after watching that show especially when they keep repeating the same 5 lines every episode

I have no clue what goes on in that show but it must be addictive. she was always watching that at one point, and had to catch it live. I couldn't even get a word in while it was on. 😆

First 15 minutes goes by as smoothly as I’d like to imagine but then the magic fizzles out and I begin to screw up. Mostly my attempt of a ‘British’ accent sounds really bloody exaggerated. 😆 Almost seems like I’m taking the piss outta them. But it’s not intentional. I just don’t know how else to do it without sounding like a high pitched lady who’s auditioning for a role to sing for the Phantom of the Opera. 🥸

Sometimes I slip up and start sounding a bit Irish and think why not add a bit of a Scottish brogue while I’m at it. Lmfao.

@bold: 🤣 that paints such a hilarious picture in my head. i can totally imagine those exaggerations to really bring it home. 😆
