My POV on all this.
1. Sai is emotionally alone. After Aaba, she had given that place to V. Even said so in MiMo track. So right now her pain is more because she feels he broke her trust.
2. She doesn't have anyone on her side properly like V is. Ashwini supports her no matter what but she herself is the weak member of the CN household. Her words don't have that weight. Sammy is her big supporter but he is biased to PP. The only person right now who is fully with Sai and probably the only saner voice is Pulkit. But he is not a Chavan. So again no one except V.
3. Sai knew of the V-PP dynamic, accepted it, fought her way through it. She knows V hasn't crossed physical boundary with PP.. which she mentioned to Sammy. So even though her position is only as a zimmedari, V had till then maintained the sanctity of marriage. He never even crossed that boundary with her. And TBH that WAS a good thing about him till then. In mimo she understood that PP is no more in picture.
4. Right now however, she has been bombarded with her own feelings and just when she was about to take a step forward, this has happened. Her heartbreak is more because she was ready, V was ready (she understood that). I was of the view that her staying in CN would be a good idea. I still feel the same but only because i don't want her to live alone. In this track, her pain is precisely this, she doesn't want to believe that V will do something like this. Her repeatedly saying V loves Shruti and asking him to clarify is her way of convincing herself that it is true.
Also, her hurt and that imaginary conversation was not i totally agree with but it is also true that for the past 2 years even though there were all sorts of things done to her, it was still a marriage and in mimo track Kaku accepted it fully by asking her for Chirag.
Hence, her feeling betrayed due to all the above reasons and not being able to forget V so easily is justified.
The whole issue here is the timing of the track and V's behaviour. Had he shown some hesitation, some regret i would still have accepted it.
The timing is messed up and so comparing it with KD is not logical. In KD emon was pregnant, they HAD a 3-4 year old relationship. She definitely had that haq. Her position as wife was clear. Here it is not. Hence the divorce case would make no sense. Also Emon being with a child made her vulnerable, if she went all the way to have a child with him, surely she is attached to him. Many of you will not agree to this, but that's how society is. Once there is a child in picture, everyone will ask you to compromise. Heck, people ask couples to bear a child even in a abusive relationship as if bacchha hone se sab thik ho jayega. All it does is it makes sure that the woman is tied up permanently. But ITV will not dare to show a woman raising a child alone. Certainly not ghum.
Similarly, Sai knowing about Sada being a naxal is a spanner in the works. Because when she knows that Shruti is Sadas wife, she would curse herself for not trusting V. But more importantly if the makers conveniently forget that V had told Sai everything about Sada then him supporting a naxal would not be digestible to her. In which case, 'deshdroha' ka case sounds plausible. But why should Sai file it is a question. If it is the Sai we know, she will blast him right, left and centre for supporting a criminal and being someone for whom Aaba died.
Also, Sai in this track has been totally understanding of Shruti and Saahas's wellbeing. Her making sure that Shruti gets proper medical treatment and her asking the family to accept them is because of her selfless attitude. But now when she will know that it is not V's baby, she will curse herself but she will understand why V did what he did.
Sais conflict after this truth comes out will be something to see. And Ayesha will nail it but the dialogues would matter so much. Going by her character arc I think that she will apologize for not trusting him enough but I hope she will not forgive him for supporting a criminal.
I don't know how the makers are planning to make V become mahaan, get a medal and so on. And more importantly how they will bring about the romance back.
Someone mentioned Raman Bhalla. He was a pathetic character but his pining for Ishita was something to see. That angst was there and KP emoted it well. I don't know if Neil can pull off it off.
If there's an award for Mahaanta it should be given to Sai though.
