I felt it was good decision, it could be like V will be in the illusion that he is winning but it would Anuj ka plan and at the end the tables would turn and he will loose everything together...
Like in Mahabharat as well there was such a situation where the kauravas thought they were winning but that was an illusion created by Krishna... so hosakta hai yaha bhi wahin logic use ho.
