Some other fan page has spelt it as "Joypur" - probably how they pronounce it ๐
Probably too much.
Arunita should take care. She should not be pressured to do too many shows/concerts.

:) I have continuously disagreed whenever this sentiment has been expressed by anyone here. This is their age to slog and make a name for themselves. Everything else can wait.
Dekha Tujhe Toh Lagaa is out on audio streaming platforms now. My first impressions:
1. HR continues to make their voices metallic rather than natural. I just don't understand why.
2. This is Arunita's song with Pawandeep being basically the Tabalchi and having a few lines. Have to acknowledge his willingness / ability to cede center stage to others without ego - we have seen that in the concerts too.
3. Both have sung their parts very well, as can be expected from them.
4. The lyrics are full of repetition - again, as can be expected by now from HR who is not a lyricist or poet by any stretch of the imagination.
5. HR doesn't seem to have been able or willing to use the full tabla playing capabilities of Pawandeep - everything sounds pretty simplistic. The video will tell us more.
All in all, I would say a rating of 6 to 7 out of 10, all of those points being for Arunita and Pawandeep and nothing for HR.

Bold: So, what's the big deal here. There are many HR duets like Tere Baggair where he took pride of place. There was no mention of Arunita's ego at that time! I am not even mentioning the Octopus songs!
This post was fine on the other thread.
Arunita deserves her space and centerstage - she is not the talent who requires kindness, and that too from a competitor!
Dekhaa Tujhe Toh Lagaa (DTTL)
I am a big Gazal lover so this was a big change for me from HR. I loved it and I just wished that the song had more lines.
The video was well made I thought and Arunita is looking better every passing day! ๐

So... a few things. Just one post because a question has been asked.
1. Appreciating one person does not necessarily mean denigrating another, nor does it require corresponding appreciation of the other.
2. Ceding centerstage due to lack of ego does not mean showing kindness - that statement is about a person being willing and able to understand when it is necessary to cede centerstage in the context of the situation, and having no issues with that. Kindness or lack of it has nothing to do with it.
3. By the very definition of contests and competitions, only the persons who finished ahead can be measured on whether or not they are pushing their weight over those that finished behind. And this applies regardless of whether or not they deserved to finished ahead.
