Bluetooth word is actually related to King Herald who is known for his dead (greyish blue) tooth and hence nicknamed Bluetooth and he united Denmark and Norway … since Bluetooth technology was all about uniting Personal computers and cellular technologies… they chose bluetooth as code name ….

however when they tried to come up with a name .. they couldn’t find anything unique and bluetooth caught up fast… hence its name Bluetooth….
