It's really jarring. And then the carpet is red too. Add to that her jewelry is extremely gaudy.

I didn't like the groom's attire too.

P.S. forgot to mention; red color doesn't leave tomorrow as seen in the pre cap.

Appu: real sense unique who asks all type of stupid not so naive questions but never asked why am I have to wear lahanga. 🤣 She did see sumi’s wedding so why did she not refer to sumi’s wedding. Did not say my wedding so maala pan aati/ sumi/ Baabi aatya saarkhe pathani aka saree havi. She may not know paithani. Why she did not say maala sarvaat jyaast pretty disaaayche pan ithe tar Aparna kaaku aani Sumi jinklya. Mag Baabi aatya aaji majhi aati list goes on even Anjali vartak pan chaanglya natlya but me. I come last in rank. 🤣🤣 But no appu will not question on her own wedding where she needs to question (sarcasms intended )

I don't even blame Apu. Kaushik, Sarika and Anjali, the three of them, did a lousy job parenting this kid. What a load of nonsense - I failed as a parent so I'll marry my daughter off!

The karnitkars need not feel too proud of themselves either - emotionally blackmailing your abiding son to marry a girl of your choice because she's a lovely little project to work on.

Where the hell is Anjali when you need her. I was waiting for her to show everyone the mirror when she finally found out about the terms of the marriage. She's lousy even as an 'antagonist'.

I would've much preferred it if Anjali hadn't let it reach the wedding stage. It would've given Apu and Shashank more time to get to know each other in their own way. And it would mean we had more time watching the karnitkars as they were - without Apu in the mix. The cookie gang alone are bad enough sometimes but include Apu...the energy at which they operate - it's exhausting to watch.

The more episodes I watch, the more I feel for Shashank.

Yes.. I didn’t like the way cookie gang told her to angrily stare at Shashank.. I mean I get fun and games but there is a place for that. All of Appu’s childish behavior at the wedding made me uncomfortable because she isn’t ready for marriage. There may be other 21 year olds who are ready but she is clearly not. Instead of giving her an opportunity to mature, her parents are just marrying her off and no one has a problem. Everyone keeps calling her sweet and innocent but no one thinks that maybe she is too innocent to be married right now. Even Anjali only has a problem that the guy is poor.. and not that her daughter isn’t ready for marriage. Apart from that the repeated dancing, red lehenga and Appu’s extreme childishness made the filler episodes too annoying. This marriage track is a train wreck.
