This is something I had highlighted during the Devkit wedding. V marrying Sai for fulfilling the promise with a deal marriage was very wrong. Because he did more wrong than right. As once they get divorced she would be called a divorcee which is unfortunately a taboo in the society even today. And she will have to bear the repercussions of it. You have highlighted the very same thing in this OS. 👏👏However, I wish you could write another sequel to this. Because, I also feel that a female does not need a man to succeed and can live her life on her own terms. And the whole world does not have only pervs. We do have good people around. But I feel there needs to be positivity around the whole independent woman aspect amidst all the struggle

First of all, no marriage is deal. Sai is shown as certified immature, Virat is no less. By getting married, Virat literally robbed sai of her decision making, also the perks she would have got of being a dependent child of Kamal sir, plus his ways in life where he is most of the times on the wrong side of moral compass makes it difficult to be in marriage with him. Sai is way too young with no one on her side, no family, career too in the making, so it's bound to be more difficult.

I saw alot of OSes and stories with new desirable ML aroundaround, also demand for new ML is rising...the writers can get whoever, write him in a way they like but it's also true that many a times you need to get through obstacles, especially after you undergo something so sensitive. Me too, i am also a happy ending person, thought of other stories by other wonderful writers as well as some of my previous stories as a sequel for this. However, will try to continue this with Sai getting her happy ending.

Hi.. nice writing. Its true that women still get the shorter end of the stick in society. Its deep rooted n will take time to change, n the change has started, albeit a little. Sai has gone through so much. I just cannot see her in pain anymore. She is a dewdrop, as someone said in the forum. Even in the show Sai said she doesnt want to hear people saying she was left by her husband for another woman. She might be affected but ultimately her focus will be on her studies.

Sonali's comment about her Aai n her upbringing must have hurt her a lot but she has learnt to ignore her words after living in CN for more than 1 year. Virat is the no 1 person in her life after Aaba. He sensed this when Kaku asked for waris. But when he is hurt, he is back to 'I, me, myself' zone. She has support from a lot of the family member now, but them being related to Virat is not gonna allow her to open up, except Pulkit, bcoz he is the only one without the 'Virat glasses'. She will not share much with her friends either, as seen what happened after the Ajinkya manhandling incident. Personally for me, the psychiatrist was not much of a help, maybe bcoz she did not have the correct backstory of Sai. She really needs someone she can share anything without a filter. Can I just go and hug her?

One thing I think Sai might not do is divulge about the deal marriage. Instead I feel she will say her marital status is not related to her work.

The show being a remake can actually be made better than the original, but their copy paste is making me frustrated sometimes. Stories in the forum here are sometimes a good diversion to what could be.

This is so sad, but reality of our society. If she had parents/ family, she could have received the emotional support that will give her the strength to face such people.

Orphan, attractive, young woman- predators will always lurk around- professors/ neighbors/ colleagues/ boss and so on.

In a way that is what Virat protected her from, which she appreciates and acknowledges, which is why she has a soft corner for Virat in show and wants the best for him. He never tried any sexual advances on her. From her POV, poor guy loved Pakhi, but had to sacrifice her for brother, then and again fell in love with Shruti but had to hide her from the world coz he had married Sai. So I do understand why she is being the mahaan female in the show.

Maybe if she moved to Mumbai/ Bangalore or a bigger city or abroad, she can limit the creeps she will attract in her life.

He thinks material things matter to Sai. Whne he is not angry with her or thing sare going his way, he is the best person for her, tries to understand her, her feelings and why she does any action.

But in his anger and ego, he fails to understand Sai many times and despite being proved wrong, he does not change his opinion of Sai. The name of the show should have been Pride and Prejudice.

Pakhi would have been a perfect partner for him, no matter how angry she is with him, as long as he is married to her, she would have done anything for him. She kind of fits in family too, become taunt queen and family either dances to her tunes or keeps mum at her statements.

That's true, change has started but it is slow, will take alot of time. Me too, cannot see our dew drop in pain...been connected to the show because of her. Focus will forever be studies but she would have to face many troubles.

She has changed alot living in CN for 1.5 years with all the taunts and tortures and her husband being on the opposite side mostly, many times she has said and she has started considering herself as difficult to live with, that she will never be desirable for Virat, hence, wants to free him for Pakhi/ Shruti, basically whoever she is happy with.

Sai is a one person woman, first that one person was aaba, now Virat...the reason she never thinks I'll about him. Pulkit is her biggest support at the moment. Virat's family is his family. Sai has accepted the Chavans, however they are, but she cannot be there without Virat because they will forever want them to patch up, whatever Virat does and somewhere have a softer spot for Virat, could be seen in all Shruti and divorce fiasco where even Samrat who calls her sister, wanted her to become a rehab center for her husband, where he asked her to think about divorce decision before signing because if after sometime Virat comes back...i mean in family's eyes too, Virat is a cheater, has a kid, still want them to be together at this point when Virat looks so bad to all. Her friends are her support the way they were there in hospital after her second accident but Virat has embarrassed her alot through Ajinkya's incident and cafe one too. Most of them would want to give her a tight hug. I want to kidnap her and keep her safe away from CNwasis and Virat and also the whole world, her story after aaba left is so heartbreaking.

See by divulging marriage status, I meant like for employment/ government documents, we need to write our marital status and i can't think of her faking details, so she might just tick on the separated/ divorced column.

I am also too irritated by the show but can't leave it because of Sai/ Ayesha.

That's the reality. Family is our backbone, especially brothers and father to protect us, when faced with such sensitive situations. If Sai had aaba, firstly she wouldn't have married Virat. Even if she did and faced all this she has been facing, aaba won't have let her live with Virat. He would have taken her away at the onset of deal only, the moment virat utters deal and the alliance over but unfortunately, she is alone, an orphan girl in a cruel world.

In Amey's fight, Virat lists the favours he had done on her, one of which was this, the status he gave to her. Virat was trustworthy for her in a way he never crossed that boundary he himself set up first, however, in anger crossed many other boundaries time and again.

I understand the reason for mahaan sai, that's why I still love her. Another thing is mahaan banke nikle ya jaise bhi nikle, she should be out of his life, atleast for sometime, so that he can fulfill his vaada and Zimmedaari obsession.

Hmm, how much I have observed around, people at workplace want to know your family structure, about their address/ dwelling etc. and behave with the person accordingly, atleast in India. She can think of foreign countries though, she will be a foreigner there and ca slowly make up a family in friends, plus they are not that judgemental.

Sai has many times clarified that she doesn't want his money, precisely since the food stopping incident when she got to know how he can show her the force of his money...then she got her scholarship money and Aaba's pension and started earning more than him...then the ousting when she freed Virat of her Zimmedaari...many a times, refused financial assistance even after Virat asking to take it.

How many times he has been wrong, when angry or disappointed with Sai, his love for Sai vanishes and only hate and disgust remains and that's sad. Agree with the new title of the show.

ViRakhi are more compatible than SaiRat tbh. For that matter, Shruti too is better. They fight him but then won't leave him, he can be nasty but at the end they will be sorry to him each time... well the self respect issue.

But it's true that Pakhi loves him and Virat would have adjusted according to her... family too seems to be in her tunes...when she talks of something that makes sense to kaku and co., she earns praises, however, when she is wrong, still no one stops or shouts at her.

All the 'abuse' she went through at CN definitely took a toll on her. She has always been insecure of her place in Virat's life. Whenever he shows care for her, she melts, but when she is reminded of Patralekha, she builds back her wall with her harsh words n indifference to protect herself. Ladakh confrontation, Vaada confrontation, all showed her hidden feeling, being the third person in her own marriage.

In MiMo track, they started on a clean sheet n they opened up so much to each other. They were happy as friends n scared to think more n risk what they have. DIG Sir's word on Diwali lighted hope in her heart as a wife. The Shruti mess took a huge hit on her because her hope was up n her wall was down.

But her saaf dil is still intact. No matter what happened, she never spoke or hear ill of him. Her harsh words are only for Virat. She has steeled herself to not fall for his emotional talks anymore. She is really determined this time.

For me, MiMo track was a really good addition. Virat coming clean on the cafe incident took Patralekha off their equation in Sai's eyes. There must be a good reason for bringing Shruti track ahead. I guess there are other issue they want to address before the confession. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I think with Sai and Virat, theyre both in different zone at the same time. True, Sai behaved like a wife, even as a deal. She didnt like Patralekha coming into their room n interfering in their matter. She showed her haq as a wife in front of Patralekha many times, in front of family or not. But Virat was in zimmedari zone. When the false case against him was cleared because of Sai, he apologised n took 1 step forward offering to be friends, but she wants to be wife. When Patralekha left CN, everyone put the blame on Sai including Virat. He said something like 'this marriage is a deal, even if I have feeling for Patralekha what is it to you'. That had the biggest impact on her. You are the third person between them, stay in ur lane. I think sabse pyaari cheez n pyaar..dosti slip up was unintended admittance of the reality of the 'friendship' between Virat and Patralekha. I mean, you wouldnt give vaada to a friend, sorry, best friend, to not let anyone else in your heart n life. She realized how much Patralekha means to him, like her aaba, n decided to get her back for him. After Virat came back from Patralekha's house, he was out of the 'infatuation' zone with Patralekha and started opening up for Sai, but Sai had planted Patralekha between them firmly. He couldnt sleep because of Sai but Sai thought because Patralekha is not in the house. For me, the pillow fort signifies Patralekha, the obstacle that stops her from reaching to Virat. She categorized everything he does after that as zimmedari, unless he says the word dil, like the nag nadi outing n Ladakh trip. When Patralekha questioned her joining the Ladakh trip she was made to feel as a third person in front of the family. Reality hits her n her wall went up again. But, she stated clearly her position in the marriage n what she thinks of Virat n Patralekha dosti. Followed by the Pulkit lunch fiasco. Virat apologized, she accepted n all seemed well again. They continued with nok jhok n push-n-pull, but her misunderstanding was never cleared. Like a 'truce'.

The dynamics between them took a turn after ousting. Sai was wrong to sneak Devi out to get her married, but kicking two women out in the night becomes a bigger wrong. When Virat went and apologized to Sai, Sai freed him of all his zimmedari towards her. When Virat was shot n in hospital, she went there as a wife even going against Patralekha. They seem to be in the same zone, husband-wife. Hearing Virat's 'haan' to Patralekha's accusation at the poolside during Harini's birthday was a shock for her, especially the Samrat part. She realizes he will not accept his past with Patralekha in front of everyone. When he stopped her from leaving the house with the haq of a husband, she was happy, again a 'truce'. Things seems well until Patralekha 'pushed' her during her birthday. She took Virat's intention of the birthday party was because she is a orphan n the ring is a birthday present, not for a wife. Virat was disheartened n insecure with Ajinkya. Ajinkya kaand...ooh, now that I think about it, Virat mostly repriminds Patralekha when he realizes Sai is wronged. Virat doesnt want Sai to leave n Sai cannot see him troubled. Virat apologizes, she accepts and back to truce, like a repeated cycle.

Then comes the dreaded anniversary, without his past with Patralekha cleared and add to that his story n the yoga instructors word at Lovers Point, she exploded. Virat again disheartened. When Samrat wants to divorce Patralekha, the fear comes of Virat having a chance with Patralekha. The fight in the hotel at night, was her wanting him to choose her or Patralekha, but he broke all relation with her. Still she remained, until Virat-Samrat-Patralekha equation was cleared. Seeing what happened at the cafe, Virat brushed his past with Patralekha under the carpet in front of the family. She did not take Virat's word at face value, but Virat was clear she will get her answers only as a wife. Its like saying to each other, you first. Sai was wrong to go behind Virat's back n get his transfer on hold, no matter what her intention was. But that made Virat frustrated, because Sai is interfering in his matter but says the marriage is a deal. They seem to be in a deadlock. Whatever Virat did in that time, putting her down in front of other, locking up,.. was wrong. Sai decided to leave n Virat gave up. The cycle is broken.

After Sai's accident, Virat stayed away from her until Sai wants to meet him. He tried to leave many time bcoz he dont want to upset Sai but she held his hand everytime. Sai wants him near but why is she giving mixed signal (just like him)? When he was leaving again she held his hand, but left his hand when she saw Patralekha. That conveyed A LOT to him. He himself held her hand and again after Patralekha left. Since then he was stern or ignored Patralekha, except when she 'hurt' her leg.

With Patralekha out of the equation during MiMo track, DIG's word made her start thinking of the possibility of him loving her. But instead of thinking if she loves him, she wants to know if Virat really loves her. For her the deal was set by Virat, his stand comes first for her. When suddenly Virat announced of going to mission, she couldnt get the answer she was seeking for. The restlessness adds to her worry for his safety n can be seen clearly before his departure. Virat definitely sensed it as more than as a dost, n the desire to confess n a life with her rises again. Now they are in the same zone after sooo long. Confession should be the next step. Then why the sudden Shruti track? Sai is back to deal, Virat to Sai doesnt love me. Its like going backward. I think thats why many are frustrated with the timing of the track.

Until now they have copied many of the original KD scene for this track. But the situation here is different. No confession, no years of being husband-wife, no pregnancy, different family dynamic and Shruti part of naxal. I think the advantage is the timing butchered Sai less n made Virat less of a dhokebaaz. But what about his IPS image? Are they going to fit this into the ending in KD or make changes? Hopefully they make changes.

Sorry for going off the topic. Guess I just need to rant..haha. Again sorry.
