Finallyyy! We've been waiting for this track forever🥳

They're also bringing up the "Som's biological father" track again.

I really appreciate the effort they're putting in to tying all loose ends up together😃

I don't think so this will happen.. Divorce is still a big thing in our society.. Specially in a family like Modaks.. Even Sid who never believed in marriage earlier was in a dilemma about the divorce..

I think Som Tess divorce track will come some day in future but only after Tess committing some unforgivable crime n Som totally losing his patience..

I am finally caught up....

4 couples with very different outlooks

Sid/Mithai: Sid is may be one of the most layered characters that they have taken time to develop. they have shown his growth. he married for his "dadai" and now believes in the concept.. jodio or kache marriage er concept is very different from normal. he accepts that mithai is his wife, feels responsibility for her, stands by her and intermittently keeps saying that she needs to stop her bouma giri and get educated. hopefully that will be a track at some point. but, has had growth and now does things that even surprises him, maybe the day he realizes why he is doing all of this we will too 🤣 Mithai on the other hand seems very flimsy to me at this point. she i feel would have fallen in love with her husband irrespective of who that was and then spent her time taking care of her shoshur bari lokjon and keeping them "heppy". 😲 this is a girl who had a lot of self-respect before marriage, had dreams and aspirations before marriage and now everything has disappeared. 👎🏼she has decided to become a "bouma". the only thing she seems to take pride in is imitating her husband for all and sundry and making sure that she is mispronouncing english... i guess there are folks like this who exist in real life (i have seen some in my family and our generation where they become a carbon of their husbands and loose their identity). Mithai reminds me of them. her character is very disappointing. why could she not retain her self-respect and why could they not show meaningful conversations between sid and mit and their outlooks and expectations from each other instead? 🤔 could they not show her being silly at home (amake amar moto mene nite hobe) but at least show her as striving to be a modern woman who will one day be running that business? i guess i just dont understand her or her "mahanta"😊

SreeTul has been one of my favorite couples with really good progression. Sree kept her character intact until that last song and dance sequence and i will write that off as shock seeing him leave 😉i hope they develop that relation - show their struggles etc and not make them into Rajib / Nanda

Rajib / Nanda - the less said about them the better ...

Som / Torsha this is the couple that interests me most. Som with his victim mentality and Tess with her entitlement. Som has a victim mentality and what he did during the fire incident cannot be pardoned. wonder how he will react when he finds out that he is not somoresh's child. it is hard to grow up in a family thinking you have no rights and knowing that someone hates you, but Sid did not have a good relation wiith somoresh either and did not turn out like Som. Tess ... sid was correct when he said "tui to kono kaaj korish na". she has entitlement / ego and has used others accomplishments as her own to date, spoiled by her mother who has encouraged her "baby" even when the things she is doing is wrong. just to she show that "amar life ta eto ta o kharap noy" she shares som's parenthood secret with the Agarwals knowing full well who they are, what their relation is with the Modaks. wonder what she will do when all this blows up??? what will som do now that he loves her??? i really hope that they expolre this couple....

They need a storyline - i hope people give feedback that they are getting tired of all the song and dance and no story

Sorry about the long post and rant ....

1st of all sorry for the late reply 🙈

And you're right Sid is actually the most layered character with Best Character development 😍 His change happened gradually n beautifully n all his character changes happened for a reason.. It never happened overnight.. Unlike Mithai who fell in love with Sid within one song, Sid takes his own sweet time to fall in love n his realization too is happening gradually.. Mithai on the other hand has Zero Character development 😓 Infact her character arc has deteriorated.. She lost her self respect post marriage, she once said that she's a quick learner but still refused to learn when Sid tries to teach her something.. Always over confidence n lands in trouble n Sid has to protect her but still she never learns from her mistakes.. You're right her only goal in life is to become an ideal Bouma, 😓 no wonder Sid gave her the Bouma No. 1 medal 😂

Sree is my absolutely favorite 😘 Unlike Mithai, Sree never lost her self respect, dignity post marriage, even though both SidMit n SreeTul marriages happened in more or less similar situation n both Mithai n Sree faced rejection from Sid n Ratul respectively.. But just look at SreeTul now.. Ratul fell in love with Sree n was dying to know if Sree feels the same for him, but his own past behavior send him on a guilt trip n was stopping him to ask Sree to stay with him... But their misunderstanding ended n their new journey begin in a beach manner 😍 I loved that Bollywood style proposal, it was cute 😚 But yes that dancing in the middle of the road was way too much 😂

Rajib Nanda are the Senior Happy Couple ❤ Nothing much to write about them.. They are the example of perfect Happy Couple ❤

Som Torsha are interesting no doubt 😂 Torsha is one of the negative leads n she will need a huge redemption track in future.. Som has done some bad things too that needs to come in front of the family even though Mithai has never hold any grudges against Som for his deeds... Som actually is a not a bad person, he loves his family no doubt, especially Sid, but certain peoples n incidents made him a week person who can be easily manipulated.. But last episode he raised his voice on Torsha for the 1st time n protested coz Torsha is the reason Omi Agarwal dared to insult Modak family...

Their story will turn out interesting with time..

I would like to add Rudy Nipa Dhara angle too.. I still don't think Rudy n Nipa will become a couple.. Rudy likes Dhara n I think they will become a couple.. I could be wrong too..

And there is this news that Nipa n Omi will become a couple which has a possibility coz Agarwals has earlier used Nipa to stain Modak family reputation.. Omi might do that again coz he's here to stay.. Omi is another negative lead n there's a chance he can be a part of Modak family through Nipa n create drama in the story...

@rbif Thank you for the wonderful analysis after such a long time

Honestly this show gives me a whiplash these days...just when I am about to give up and move on, they show an episode like yesterday's and I am hooked again 😆 And now they have released the hathe khori promo and we are all ecstatic again 👏

@blue - Honestly, a lot has been said about this matter online especially in the last few days. Mithai's character graph has been the most disappointing in this show. As you said she transitioned into being the ideal bouma and then nothing 🤔 In terms of her feelings for Sid, honestly speaking, she lacks maturity. The endless "dirims," hero worship, nokol kora etc. just trivialised her emotions...which is why yesterday's scene was so well done when she was about to go off on another one of her hero tangents she looked into his eyes and was shocked to see the raw vulnerability and pain in them. Mithai needs to gain perspective and a better understanding of Sid for her love to properly mature

Similarly, Sid has also come a long way in understanding Mithai and her needs but still, there are barriers that he has to overcome in order to fully realize his feelings and eventually confess. One of these barriers is definitely borobabu and the whole issue of Som's parentage as seen in recent episodes.

@red - I fully agree.. this is definitely one of the most interesting pairings on the show right now. And I think their story will be developed for sure but only after some serious redemption arcs. Som is already at that stage where he is facing the consequences for some of his choices but Tess...uff she needs to fall flat on her face, break her nose and eat some serious humble pie before the audience (ahem I 🤔) can accept her.

@bold - Recently there have been a lot of discussions online and it seems that finally some of the feedback is sinking in and so the story is picking up pace again with some of the things that we want to see...hopefully this time they will deal with these tracks in a proper fashion and not abandon them yet again 👍🏼

@bold: You took that sentence right out of my mouth! I've been an on and off viewer lately, but after that hathe khori promo, I'm really looking forward to the education track that all of us have hoped for and discussed with extreme intensity!

I agree with each of the points in the ongoing extensive analysis, although, Nanda and Rajib appear to me as completely irrelevant characters now.

Also, I would have really loved it if Sree and Ratul's confession had been a private affair, rather than the entire family intruding their privacy and dancing around in the middle of the road. It would have done those two private souls (Oops, now one soul only☺️) justice.

Sorry for late reply. Very apt analysis of all the couples.

Som-Tess has kind of mutual benifit relationship. Although, Som s nt getting any benifit for now, but, I felt that was his initial intention. He wanted somebody on his side in the Modak house, that was one of the main reason to marry Tess. Now after getting shops and his identity confirmed, he took a 360 degree turn. He might again turn when his actual identity gets exposed.

Sreetul and SidMit are 2 sweet couples. Sreetul showed nice growth, except for OTT street dance confession, which ruined my mood totally.

SidMit, Sid showed the best growth and till now best written character, except his "porject about Sree-Nipa-Ratul", where he kind of looked very out of character.

Mithai showed the least growth till now. The most expected character, but least attention given in terms of growth.

Its good that many good series r coming and now Mit facing lot of competition for TRP, CVs have geared up now.

Long lost track of Mithai education resurfaced, and so did Som's identity.

I have a strange feeling, due to Pilu Somresh might focus on the new serial and might exit from Mithai. I feel his character might die, leaving Sid guilt ridden for life.
