To begin with, it cannot be denied that till Akshara was around, Kaira were miles better than Abhira. Kartik was the sweetest, most realistic male lead to ever be written for a long running show. No toxic masculinity, no alpha BS, no ego. He was a jugaadu, a sweetheart who would rather talk things out calmly than raise his voice. He helped Naira calm her anger issues & come closer to her family. His characterisation was only next best to Naitik. Abhimanyu has nothing on Kartik or Naitik. Even though Kartik too didn't come without childhood trauma.. He had an extremely strained relationship with Manish & Swarna since childhood that Naira helped him resolve.

Kaira's love story was pretty predictable. Typical popular guy falls for 'I am not like other girls' female lead who has 'never thought that way about any man'. But it was organic. They were platonic friends for 6 months before any feelings were confessed. Even the 'sisters in love triangle' drama was dealt with without any toxicity or cancelled weddings (Vansh's mother Gayu had a thing for Kartik. Naira stepped back just like Akshu).

Now coming to the juice you're here for 🤡

1. Kaira got divorced TWO times. Kartik got THREE divorces and a total of 7 weddings!
2. In 15 years of being married, they lived together for only 6 years.
3. Once married, Kartik's favourite phrase became TUMHARI WAJAH SE! 🤣 According to him everything from Keerti's tears to sunrise happened because Naira was wrong. Before the wedding, this bhoot used to reside in Naira's body. After the wedding, Naira ki jagah iss aadmi ko chillaane ke daure padne lage 🤣
4. Naira & Keerti(Kartik's sister) were pregnant at the same time. At the end, Kaira's baby died and Keerti slipped into a coma. So Kartik literally stole Keerti's baby & gave him to Naira as their own, without telling anyone. 🤪 Poor Keerti had to beg to get her baby back.
5. Akshu has inherited the trait of attracting random goons from her mother. The ONE time Kartik couldn't beat 10 goons single-handedly, his ego got hurt. That on top of business failure and Suhasini's taunts, he degraded himself to asking Naira if she's sleeping with her boss.
   
6. Naira's reaction was even worse. She ran away and faked her death. Kept Kairav hidden away in Goa for 4 years in poverty & isolation with a depressed mother who frequently neglected him. Poor Kairav had to find Kartik by his own, else Naira had no plans of returning.
7. In the meantime, Kartik had married a sweet, simple girl. Eventually the dude started secretly dryhumping Naira in public places while still married😛 And like every third angle in Kaira's story, the girl eventually went crazy.
8. The first time Kaira got divorced was against almost everyone's wishes. Only to want to remarry a week later. 😆 The second time they got divorced, Naira refused to share Kairav's custody with Kartik. Yes, share. Kartik was fighting for joint custody. But Naira wanted to once again run away with her secret child & give Kartik-Kairav no relationship. 🤡
9. There was literally no occasion or argument that Kaira didn't turn into about themselves being mahaan. Naksh's wedding? Kaira performed all the ceremonies alongside. Mansi's wedding? They had a shouting match about their own issues. Gayu felt neglected? They moved away for a vacation to guilt trip Gayu and left her behind to face everyone's taunts. Akhilesh felt neglected? They gave up their own project to guilttrip him & left him to face everyone's taunts. Keerti felt insecure? Kartik abandoned Naira on the mandap to guilttrip her & left her to face everyone's taunts. Kairav had a hard time adjusting to a suddenly adopted sister who's also older than him? It was an ego issue for Kaira so they guilttripped, scolded, & isolated him into accepting her.
10. You think Akshu cares a little too much about her family? Appreciate her, man. Naira didn't give a single flying fck about Singhania's. Akshara, Naitik, Naksh, Gayu, Kairav.. They spent their entire lives getting tortured by Naira & cleaning up after her without a single 'Thank You'. Kartik was no less! He was a wonder parent while Naira was around. After Naira's death, he lost his marbles & poor Kairav had to handle both him and Akshu. Those episodes after episodes of Kairav crying for Kartik were torturous to watch. Once Kartik found Sirat, he forgot that Akshu exists. You know who took care of Akshu while Kartik was busy being a hero for Sirat? A random family relative who was supposed to be a villain 🤪

So, pyaare darshakon. Fasten your seatbelts. Enjoy this relative calmness of the beginning. If Abhira's story runs for years, it's going to be a bumpy ride 🤣

I'm sure that 6 months friendship phase would be awesome. That was real yrkkh with so many tracks and all characters getting importance. Naira and akshara had a vibe of their own. Even their dance sequences felt so natural. Shivangi Joshi is such a good actress all her expressions came naturally and kaira looked made for each other.

Even after marriage I believe some tracks must be good but now it's boring as they are going to repeat and recycle the season 2 things. That time it was unpredictable , now it has become so predictable with no heads and tails in the story.

Naira had many shades to her personality- bold , sarcastic, fashionable, able to answer back. Akshara is far from her mom.

💯 Agreed!!👏 though they had an AMAAAZING love story in the beginning and the episodes (till Akshara's death) were lovely, I even re watched the track, from Akshara finding Naira, to Ak's death. And even after marriage, some tracks were amazing. But these points....ekdam accurate👍🏼

You have given excellent YRKKH2 quick snap shot..........this was the reason I had left very early after Kartik & Naira got married.

YRKKH1 was really good.............the way Akshara and Naitik were portrayed was very realistic...........loved how she came as new member in Singhani and how she became ruler of every ones heart in Singhani..................

I had high hopes for YRKKH3 specially after seeing Akshara, I had feeling of YRKKH1 essence...........but at one point they were shown mature and now what did we see in last few episodes...........

Till confession was beautiful..............but after that ............I do not feel the story is realistic the way I felt YRKKH1............I do not enjoy their lovely dovely ABHIRA scenes.......as they are felt to be forced in the show just for TRP ..........like today's song..........Yesterday when they met outside house.........if she really loved her sister that much and now even if she has confessed............Girl will just not run in his arms ..............before confession and after confession Akshara ..........characters are quite different............core is changed completely.............They are just trying to force that Family is important and need to bring them together.................not feel things as realistic and looking forced

Yes! I literally had a crush of Kartik even though I never found Mohsin attractive. He was such a well written character before the wedding, and here & there later on.

Contrast that to now. Harshad is so hot but Abhimanyu is toxic af from the beginning 🤣

No one compares to Naitik, man. Golu molu Singhania Ji was gold standard. ❤️

Preteen Naira, played by Ashnoor, was adorable! But I was neutral on adult Naira. She was an attention-seeking bhagodi who never appreciated her family & had a strong 'I am not like other girls' vibe. She remained that way from her teens till her death. Later, the 2nd divorce absolutely ruined her character & made her quite hateable.

Shivangi's acting didn't help either. After the 1st divorce, her performance completely stagnated. All she would do was screech in the name of crying & jutt her chin in the name of romance. She got so many chances in different tracks but only kept getting worse. Now she's equally bad in Balika Vadhu too.

Mohsin's presence made it worse. He started as a non-dancer and weaker actor between the two. But by the 1st divorce, he was knocking it out of the park. Kartik became despicable but it was Mohsin's performance that carried him till the end. His apology after the first divorce, mourning Baby Kaira, Naira's memory loss, learning about Mansi's abuse, his breakdown when he alleges Naira of adultery, breakdown post Naira's death.. Chef's kiss! I can rewatch those episodes anyday only for his performance.

And the difference in Kaira's acting was confirmed by Rajan Shahi himself. He said Shivangi doesn't do any prep or multiple takes because she's a 'natural'. Mohsin spends days, sometimes weeks, preparing for heavier scenes & requests retakes. And honestly, it showed on screen.

N man what a shaky ride it was with an expense of my mental health.

Thanks to you , @SnowWhite_97 N @Moonlight493 now I don't regret watching complete S2 at all.

I wouldn't have been able to see main lead happily dumping his kids, falling in love with other one forgetting this epic love. Srsly have the writers been this awful.🤢

Married Kartik bohot ganda tha yaar! After the wedding his best parts were

- Naira's premarital abortion : No one knew anything. As usual due to Naira's problem of hiding everything from everyone. But he still saved her, stood up for her against his entire family, didn't even question her. Rather provided her unconditional emotional support

- Parenting Kairav : Till Naira's death, he was the absolute best parent in the younger generation, only next to Gayu. The way he fought to be a part Kairav's life, gave up the custody battle in favour of Naira's ego because it was hurting Kairav too much, protected him from Naira's mental terrorism, took him to therapy, etc. Mohsin also had wonderful chemistry with all the 3 actors who played Kairav.

- Mansi's childhood abuse - The abuser was his hero+father figure, yet he cast everything aside in a second to believe Naira's word.

- Mourning Naira's death during the 5 year leap. His pain and guilt broke. My. Heart.

Just these 4 tracks come to mind in 5 years of episodes. Apart from these, I did feel for him here and there like the Mumbai-divorce era. But there was nothing special. And mostly, it was him being so utterly toxic that it was almost repulsive! Har baat pe bas Tumhari Wajah Se ke naare lagaata rehta tha 😆
