The dining table scene was thought provoking.. and a bit hilarious for me as well. The way Harsh turned 180* for his son and the mellowed change in Abhi!!
Like i could never imagine nor those birlas of abhi giving moral science class to Papa birla that too in such a calm manner and the nodding expression of Harsh with a not so sweet or probably suffocating smile.. i couldnt stop laughing.
True Abhi needs to learn quite a lot abt the ways of society and Bade papa will ensure that he learn it before he hands over his girl to him. Abhi doesnt have any clue abt the interlinked ways of society as he never had much interaction with it on a deeper level and led a solo life. EVerything birlas did for him including bearing the consequences. Now he will learn the consequences of his each action which will tone him down..
This makarsankranthi function scene is just the trailer of future scenes in adoption track. Bade papa is very much concerned about the honour and prestige of the family and his girls and it will be really difficult for him to bend to abhis adoption truth. AK probably is going to have to choose which hand to hold on then.. Today bade papa held her hand and took her away due to society and abhi let her go and ak went away with goenkas. Same scenario is going to repeat with the adoption track and abhi will let ak go and Goenkas pull her away.. What will Ak do then seem to be seen?? Hopefully ak helds on to abhi then but at the loss for her family i suppose.
Ar is still a brat like a kid at heart.. one complaint box she is!! "Ak ko abhi ke saath dekha tho bade papa ko jaake bataongi!!"
For all the nonsense and lies she did, ak used to cover her up. But somewhere i can still see a bit of concern in arohis eyes for Ak..like a tiny weeny bit...

Mahima do love her sister and nephew a lot and most of the times try to save them unless her ego or position is threatened..
And this must be the cause of her daughter's separation from the birlas. Either it should be some love affair that birlas couldnt accept or her profession.. waha abhi ke sevay sab ka profession ko lekar kaand he.. parth is mellowed version, so sitting at home and boycotting. This girl must be abhis version who must have left home for it..
