You know, I was watching the Ghatal video again and could not but keep noticing how unfazed the drummer was though the entire mayhem. If I ever need to give an example of "stoic" - he would be it! 🤣
Only once, did I catch a quarter smile when Aru was singing one of her Bengali songs. Otherwise, deadpan can't be illustrated better! 🤣

And in the band I noticed only the guitar player- my full attention was on Aru and PD 😁😁. By the way - was just informed by IF that they have given me 16 year anniversary badge.🥳

And by the way that Lead guitarist was quite good. PD and he were having some good sync moments - and he was even brought up front to center stage.

Overall, I think the band was good - they were able to manage changes in songs quite well without a lot of hitches.

I firmly believe that Arunita, for one, is constrained by the quality of accompaniment. There are songs that people expect her to sing but they hardly go with a brass band.
Earlier Idol shows used to have Girish's team in support. That has not happened with her thus far.
Would love to see how much better everyone does when they have the right team to support them on stage. Not that riff-raff stuff that was on show in UK and Canada. It is perhaps due to Covid, but still.
