Part 22:

Ram entered Meera ma's home to see everyone waiting for him in the living room. Soon everyone started fussing over him while he enjoyed their care but his eyes was searching for a glimpse of his wife. She came out of the kitchen after long 5 mins. He smiled seeing how her eyes lit up when she saw him. Shivi came and started scolding him for working late, she asked him reduce his working timings which made Ram's heart to leap in joy. They were just talking randomly.
Priya: Mr. Kapoor we can go home after the dinner.
Ram: shit I forgot.
Priya: kya
Ram called driver to bring the bag. Driver came and gave Priya the overnight bag while Priya looked at Ram questioningly.
Ram: I thought we can stay here tonight as it's already late. We will go to work from here.
Priya: Mr. Kapoor there is no need for this. We can go after finishing our dinner.
Sara: Priya if you want, you can go. Ram is going to stay here.
Sandy: pri di. You both stay here. It's been long time.
Ram smiled while Priya gave him an angry stare.
Ram: why are you glaring at me? I didn't do anything. Ma see your daughter she is always scolding me.
Meera: you both stay here tonight.
No more arguments. Sara come with me we will arrange the dinner. Ram you go and get freshen up.
Ram: ji ma.

Ram went inside to get freshen up while stealthily signalled Priya to come inside which made her to blush but she covered that with a slight cough.
Priya: I will give this bag and come
Priya followed her husband to her room. Priya stood taking out his clothes and towel from the bag while Ram who came out of the washroom back hugged Her.
Priya: what are you doing Ram? Someone will come. Door is open.
He turned her in the hug and made her stand facing him.
Ram signalled her to look at the door, she saw that door was locked.
Priya: when did you locked it? I never heard any sound. What will they think outside? Now leave me and you get changed.
Ram simply snuggled into her arms relaxing in her warmth along with wiping his wet face on her shoulder making it slightly wet.while she caressed his back softly.
Priya: You are looking very tired. Get changed and come fast. We will have our dinner.
Ram: dinner se pehle.
Ram claimed her lips in passionate kiss which she reciprocated after initial hesitation. This time Priya bit his lower lip little harshly making him wince in pain. She soothed his pain immediately by placing soft wet kisses while her husband was in shock at the turn of events. Both parted from each other and grinned looking at each other.
Ram: It looks like my biwi missed me so much today.
Priya nodded her head and hugged him resting her head in his chest while he closed his eyes feeling contented.
Ram: waise biwi strawberries did taste good. Why do you always keep eating strawberries. Next time eat some icecream or chocolate.
Which made Priya to give a small punch in his gut while he laughed at her.

The noise from the outside made them part from each other. Priya was going towards the door when ram made her look at the mirror to correct her appearance.
Priya rubbed both her cheeks with her hands as the blush was not leaving her face which made Ram to laugh. After taking few deep breaths, she straightened her hair and dress before going out asking ram to get changed.
Priya helped her mother in setting the table while Sara slightly teased her for taking care of Ram. While Priya kept a straight face like an unaffected person.
Ram came out and joined everyone for the dinner. Everyone was having dinner along with chatting.
Ram: Ma this is so tasty. Thank you so much ma for making my favourite dish.
Ram winced little loudly when the spice from the curry touched his lower lip which made everyone to look at him questioningly while Ram shot a teasing glance at his wife which made her to pinch his thigh. He again shouted while everyone become concerned seeing him pain.
Ram: that's nothing I bit my lips while eating. Aap log kao na.
Priya gave him a victorious smile while he was amused seeing her playful side. Thought to tease her later.

After finishing their dinner everyone sat around eating their dessert specially made my Sara di.
Ram: Sara di you are too good in baking.
Shivi: seriously di, this is amazing. If I keep on eating like this then I will become fat in a short period.
All laughed listening to her, while Sara thanked them.
Ram: sandy please get me some strawberries.
Sandy: par jeeju. Ghar pe strawberry khatam hogaya.
Ram: arey achee se deko I know there will be some left.
Sara: sandy I bought strawberries today evening. Go and get some. Par Ram how did you know?
Sara asked confused, while Ram with a cheeky smile told that Priya said to him.
Priya who was listening to that conversation hit her forehead with her palm as she realised what he was talking.
Priya: woh I said to him once that there will always be strawberries in our home as it was our favourite and you will keep refilling it immediately.
Sara: woh acha acha.
Priya: but I didn't know that you will remember this now Mr. KAPOOR.
Ram silently ate the strawberry bought by Sandy as his wife was shooting daggers at him.

Ram: let's play cards.
Priya: It's late Mr. Kapoor. We all have to go to work tomorrow. So let's just sleep.
Sandy: Pri di, we can sacrifice our sleeping time for one day.
Sara: let's just play one or two games.
Shivi: I will go and get cards.
Shivi ran to get cards while the elders went to sleep. When they were going to start the game akki returned from his shoot. Seeing his di , jeeju he became energetic and joined the game with him.
They played two games which sandy and shivi won. They had fun teasing eachother while playing. Then they decided to call it night.

Everyone moved to their room leaving behind Ram and shivi. Ram talked with her to make sure she is comfortable in her sasural. From her talk, he can understand she is happy here. Ram kissed her forehead and asked her to be happy always. Shivi hugged ram
Shivi: love you Bhai
Ram: love you too meri bachi.
Both went to their respective room after saying good night.

Ram entered the room to see priya standing in the balcony. He went and hugged her nuzzling into her.
Ram: soyi nahi abhi tak
Priya: Was waiting for you. Aaj kaam kuch zyada hai kya.
Ram: little bit.
Priya: how was the meeting?
Ram: everything went well. Haan I met my old friends in the hotel while returning back. We were all college friends. They both got married. Shashi , he is a partner in one of the project that our company handles and his wife vedhika. They insisted me to have dinner with them.
Priya: you should have had your dinner with them, you were already hungry.
Ram: you were not there na. May be some other day.
Priya smiled at him.
Priya: Now come on, let's sleep. It's already late.
Ram just hummed,
Priya: chalo
Ram: Priya tomorrow we will have our lunch outside.
Priya: will you comfortable sleeping without air conditioner.
Ram: Don't worry I'm more than comfortable if you are with me.
Now come on.
Ram carried her to bed and made her lie comfortably before joining her. Both slept peacefully hugging each other.

Next day, Ram, Priya and sandy together went for their office. Everything went normally.
At afternoon,
Shashi and Ram together came out the conference room in Ram's office as they had an emergency meeting due to some sudden issues. The meeting got over at the time of lunch.
Shashi and Ram went towards vedhika who was waiting for shashi.
Shashi went and hugged her which she reciprocated while Ram stood near them with a smile.
Vedika: Hi Ram.
Ram: Hello vedika
Vedika: shashi called me to come over.
Shashi: I'm free for the remaining day Ram. So thought to spend some time with vedika.
Ram: that's lovely. Enjoy your day guys.
Vedika: why don't you join us Ram, you refused yesterday saying another day. You can have lunch with us today.
Shashi: yes Ram, you can join us.

Ram was thinking how to refuse them as he wanted to spent some time with his wife. As if in cue, Priya came and slightly tapped his shoulder from his backside. Ram turned and gave a full fledged smile on seeing her. All he wanted to do was take her in his arms but his wife doesn't like PDA's and Nowadays even he likes their moment to be private for them alone to cherish. So he just gave a formal smile which she returned with the same.

Ram turned towards Shashi and vedika
Ram: Shashi , vedika meet my wife Priya.
(This is the first time Priya meeting them).
Vedika: Hello Priya, finally we got to meet you. Congratulations for your wedding and sorry for the late wishes.
Priya just smiled in return and mumbled a thank you.
Shashi: yeah congratulations to you both. I have wished Ram separately but we didn't get to see you.
Ram and Priya smiled at them.
Ram: Priya this is shashi, one of our close business associate and this is his wife Vedika.
Shashi: we are friends as well. Vedika and Ram are super close friends.
Which made Ram little awkward while vedika gave a bright smile.
Priya: He told me about you guys. Glad to meet you both.
Vedika smiled thinking still Ram talking about them.
Shashi: Ram now Priya is also here, why don't you guys join us for lunch.
Ram: woh may be next time, I have an meeting after lunch.
Vedika: Ram you refused us yesterday, today you are coming with us. Priya have lunch with us.
Ram was trying to refuse, his wife gladly accepted the invite while he felt like banging his head in the wall.
Shashi: Now come on Ram, Priya is okey with this plan.
Ram nodded his head in okey. All the four walked towards the parking lot.

Ram was going towards his car when shashi asked him to come in their car.
Vedika: yes Ram. The hotel is very near. We will drop you guys.
Priya being Priya gladly accepted as saving fuel is very important. Ram looked at her in disbelief while she didn't see the look Ram gave her.

Ram sighed and walked towards shashi's car. Ram was going to open the backseat door when he saw vedhika climbing in the backseat. He cursed her under his breath as she spoiled his plan to sit with his wife.
He opened the backdoor for Priya and he sat near shashi sulkingly.
Vedika was trying to show how close they were while Priya was listening to her stories with genuine interest as it was about her husband.
She liked listening about her husband's stories while Ram was mildly irritated.
Ram was glad that they selected a hotel nearby.
Ram: shashi, vedika you guys carry on. We will join you shortly.
Shashi nodded while vedika nodded little relectantly.

Ram turned towards his wife furiously who was looking at him confused.
Priya: kya hua Mr. Kapoor.
Ram: kya hua, seriously Mrs. Kapoor.
Priya: Ram are you okey?
Ram: I have planned a lunch date for you. WITH YOU ALONE. I have booked everything and you spoiled all my plannings with a single nod.
Vedika turned to see Ram and Priya. It looked like Ram was shouting at Priya from distance as she can't hear anything, she smirked thinking Ram's marriage is just a plain deal. He can never get over me.
Priya: I'm really sorry. I thought you will be happy to meet your friends as yesterday night you didn't join them as I was not there. That's why I said yes Ram.
Ram: But I DIDN'T LIKE THIS at all.
Ram went inside leaving her behind while Priya started thinking of ways to cajole him for spoiling his plans unknowingly.
