This thing is cv's making a mockery, it's actually not that big a issue easily ignorable if you don't like it but meher told me that they had done even worse in season two where they first shows sirat and kartik relationship as draupadi and Krishna and than made them Radha and Krishna. It's really insensitive.

I liked Abhi wearing Payal and having choti part because that's common.

yeah yesterday only i watch that clip that they make akshu nd kairav as radha krishna ...i was little surprised to see..then i feel ok they r kids but nobody makes bro nd sister as radha krishna in there home or any play

I am not upset, I am expressing my views, that ladki applying sindoor to ladka is an insignificant thing and mockery of my beliefs when shown as a ritual.

If somebody does it for their own wedding I don't mind, but promoting it as an idea on a national level I think is unnecessary.

Yes jeeja wanting to marry saali is something which can happen, because they had miscommunication and he was in love with her even before the JEEJA SAALI relationship. Hence, I don't have any problem with that.

Women wearing sindoor or not wearing anything and all it's a personal choice. I should not talk about it IMHO.

Regarding chotis, payal and tilak everybody irrespective of gender we make all babies wear, especially little boys wear all the above like baby krishna till first mundan and we call them kannayya(little krishna)

INFACT I made my 7 month old son wear a pink frock.😆

I lead the D&I initiatives at work. Hence I am sure they shouldn't have done that scene and hopefully not going to repeat it.

I LITERALLY MEANT PEOPLE CAN DO WHATEVER THEY WANT ON A PERSONAL LEVEL, BUT INDIVIDUAL OPINIONS SHOULDNT BE SHOWN AS A RITUAL OR TRADITION IN A SERIAL CATERING TO THE WIDER AUDIENCE, ESPECIALLY IF IT HAS THE POTENTIAL TO HURT PERSONAL SENTIMENTS, THEY CAN BE REPORTED TO UK ADVERTISING STANDARDS AGENCY(ASA).

FINALLY IF THIS TOPIC IS OF NO INTEREST DONT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS🤗

Yes jeeja wanting to marry saali is something which can happen I don't have any problem with that. Because love is personal.

Regarding chotis, payal and tilak everybody irrespective of gender can have it and my nani used to say there will be no gender difference till 8 years of age. Even scientifically sexual development begins around that time.

Having choti, payal, kajal and tilak are entirely personal infact before my daughter was born I have made my 7 month old son wear a frock 🤪once.

I am ok even with queer community at work and I lead the D&I initiatieves at work.

Then why can't applying Sindoor also be personal? We have learnt a lot of things from childhood and we are constantly unlearning breaking out of social constructions that are bad for us to live as free individuals. We can't have a show only express majoritarian views, right? Just asking.

PS: please read this in a pleasant tone. 😊

I dont think much about these things as akshu i guess she just pretended to do that but she did not actually do it. 😊 in real life i really dont understand why only married women has to carry all suhag ki nishani why men roam freely so i did not paid much attention to that scene. if that hurts religious sentiments of others then cvs should really be careful and avoid these scenes which can hurt others feelings.

That's interesting. It's true that in the US most married men and women wear rings on their left hand finger. It's more social convention than religious I think. I thought most married Indian women wear sindoor and mangalsutra (although my mom doesn't, she and my dad wear wedding rings only).

In America and I think the West in general, it's a 'thing' to show off one's engagement ring to all one's friends and colleagues at work, and then after marriage, everyone will come and admire the wedding set (engagement ring plus wedding band). I find it silly but yeah, I can see how the aussie would've been surprised that you weren't wearing your ring. Here if someone suddenly takes off their ring, people will gossip that the engagement is broken or marriage is on the rocks🤣
