Dear Akshu --little about Sindoor

I have seen in today's episode how akshu was pretending to put sindoor on Abhimanyu forehead, but sadly to me it's a mockery of the indian marriage.

The importance of sindoor and the reason for putting it ceremoniously on a woman's forehead at an auspicious timing is because it's a holy promise from the man that he will protect his wife till his flesh and blood is left meaning till he is alive. That's why a simple marriage can only contain the application of sindoor.

A man can have anybody applying tilak on their forehead but a woman's maang can be touched only by herself or her husband(her spiritual consort)

By applying si door a man has made a holy promise to support everything required for the woman even while she is incapable of providing anything for herself ie;during pregnancy, delivery, illness and any other cause limiting her movement or ability.

On a spiritual level its the fusion of the spiritual journey of two souls.

Also in color theory red is the maximum possible color capable of carrying positive thoughts and anything beyond goes into infrared not suitable for good thoughts and energy hence always sindoor in the parting keeps the influence of darker thoughts repealed.

Unfortunately we sometimes try to be woke and dilute the essence of the rituals altogether.

I hope the CVs do not attempt to such mockery again.

Completely agreed. It's make mockery of traditions.

Actually, now that you mentioned it indeed is ridiculous.

Yes, they are adding woke initiative to the show, and I hope they don't do it again.

I think they are trying to show Abhi as woke but so that can only be achieved by mocking traditions?

Thanks for bringing this to attention.

Yes, I like that Payal and choti thing.

Marvaris as you know make their kids wears payals, no matter whatever the gender is and also the choti part is common, so I actually loved it but the sindoor thing is just mockery.

I am ok with that because he was talking to manjari who worship kanhaji. So, ya ok.

But they should work on these small things.

Why are people getting so upset about sindoor when we literally had a JIJA romancing his SAALI in the show and everyone was cool with it like that wasn’t a mockery of marriage rituals 🤣🤣🤣
