I see mishku as sisters more than I do Aaru-Akshu. They didn’t like each other but they still came to the others aid when they needed it (mostly Mishti tho). And that’s how most families are. You don’t like each other all the time, but you do love each other. And they were willing to “get along” for their families (pretend at least) showing that they considered the impact of their relationship on others.
Aarohi isn’t seeing how hurting Akshu is hurting everyone. No matter how the Goenkas are, especially Kairav, seeing Aarohi despise Akshu hurts them a lot. It’s an insult to Sirats memory, seeing her daughters like that, and to Nairas existence (same logic).
I think that’s cause between Mishku, the dislike was mutual. Whereas Aaru and Akshu are at two extremes for their feelings. Aaru does care for Akshu (when she’s hurt) but not enough to say she loves her. But since aaru was born, Akshu worshipped her. Even when Sirat jokingly made fun of aaru, Akshu would jump to her defence and feel super hurt.
I’m not saying either show is better or either relationship is better. They both have flaws and that’s evident. I just find their commonalities interesting, especially since they don’t have the same flaws. mishbir had more development (imo) but YRKKH3 has a lot of plots that they can explore.
Yes, agreed. With everything you said. I wanted to write what your post says in my original post itself, but that post would become too long then xD
Mishti and Kuhu cared for each other and have covered for each other when the need arised. I can imagine Akshu doing that for Arohi (and she has) but Arohi would never. Instead she would use that against Akshu, because like you said only Arohi dislikes Akshu.
Mishti and Kuhu definitely felt like more siblings.
Mishbir did have more development, yeah. Especially because Mishti was supposed to get engaged to Kunal first. That gave her more time to get to know Abir as just a friend, for them to form a friendship, and that became the base of their relationship.
For some odd reason, Aarohi only sees Akshara's physical pain (the concern when Akshu went into the fire, the accident), not the mental trauma and anguish she grows through.
Both sister's relationship are full of toxicity, Kuhu used to abuse Mishti physically the same way Arohi is abusing Akshara physically. This is not acceptable at all and very problematic I agree Akshara has fault in this too but all 3 of them are to be blame in such situation but why manhanding and abuse? This content is disgusting to show in a show like Yeh Rishta where kids are watching, they would think it's fine. I can never like and support a character like Arohi and what Kuhu did to Mishti wasn't right either.
Mishti & Akshara situation is different and anybody can fall weak to a dead person promise even the strongest person can. Arohi has traumatized Akshara so much since childhood and break her spirit I don't like how she's not standing up for herself but I do understand her situation too. Akshara is strong infront of others but Arohi is her weakness because of promises she made to Sirat, we saw how she give back to Harsh Birla before and stood up for herself even Mahima in initial days. If it wasn't for Sirat death and promises Akshara won't have turn out this way.
Oh, yeah. I meant Mishti was better at standing up for herself, even if it was to Kuhu. She would give it back just as hard as she got.
But i think they're both equally strong, when it comes to other stuff. They've both dealt with a lot of trauma and have come out stronger.
I think what I found most disturbing about both relationships was how they'd exploit each other's trauma. Kuhu's taunted about Mishti's dad, Aarohi's constant blame game, to get their way hurt far more than physical violence. The only line Aarohi hasn't crossed yet is saying something about Naira.
I was just about to bring popcorn to hear her story lol I’m surprised they didn’t even sugar coat the story a little We all knew her story was...
