I don't see any connect with Aarohi - I'm a doctor too, married to a doctor. Itna attitude, I don't understand. She blames everyone else. Hardly remembers her mother if she's not hurling abuses at Akshara or feeling jealous. Don't really understand what fans here like about her character.

Okay, I get that even she has issues. But there has hardly been any scenes which would help the audience garner sympathy for her. Which is why I don't understand the wholesome support she gets on the forum. 😳

Not a fan of aarohi but trying to analysis two sides of a character. It gives a different feel and look out to explore other side of a character.

We do this just not for aarohi, for abhi and akshu too their goods and bads. If you see our other posts you will know we explore a character in all perspective.

And yaah I am aarohi's great fan because I like when she makes mistakes and I am the one who makes her kaand boards and fake credit boards. So I can put a tick mark when all her kaands come out. 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😎😎😎🤗🤗🤗

No. No. I wasn't talking about you or even any reply in this topic. Generally on the forum, I see a lot of activity stating how Aarohi is the actual victim and Abhi-Akshu are her culprits, and how she is so much more interesting and they would like to see her story more than AbhiRa.

I understand analysing her character - it makes it more fun to watch a show if even the grey-shades have depth to them. What I do not understand is supporting a character who has barely had any positive scenes, so as to speak.

I can Understand your feelings yaar. Trying to explore all sides of a character is fun but blindly supporting a character is a head ache.

The fact is aarohi herself knew she is a bad person.

Like the time when akshu got panic attack in trip and how she acted good in front of abhi.

Now when akshu tried to tell manish it's aarohi who blackmailed her. As akshu once said it's her who know how dark is her heart and she doesn't wish abhi to see it that goes to everyone surrounding aarohi.

In real life if a girl's marriage breaks once it's a gone case in Aarohi it's twice so as grandparents and brother it's such a headache and heart ache to them so they need time to balance situation.

Aarohi had threatened and blackmailed akshu time and again. If that comes out it's an even big headache to them. Yaar this girl dug her own grave and blames others for it. Now I feel so sorry for manish to deal with her.

In behad, more than the positive male and female lead character, vamp character of Maya enacted by jennifer winget had huge fan following due to various reasons her acting, portrayal of the character and should have the complete background of each character to know where they are coming from.

Here too in this thread there is nothing like arohis fans or aks or HC fans, but we do discuss each and every character whether it is positive or negative and try to discuss the reason behind a particular behaviour.

Every character whether is villian or side characters in a show is relevant otherwise, you cannot have a story or make a show out of it.

Every person behaves in a particular way whether its right or wrong due to their past experiences and the way they are nurtured and their family background and circumstances. Any character whether in reel or real can never be perfect as each person has their set of flaws. And nobody is born criminal, their circumstances and their decisions whereby they respond to it makes them. But we need to understand the reasons behind their actions to understand them and thereby guide them to the right path. Im not justifying the criminals here but the need to understand the reason behind their actions is very much essential.

Arohi too behaves in a particular path due to the harsh circumstances she had faced and due to her bad influence from maternal family and negligent parenting from goenkas. Every person is different and the response to the same situation too is different. Ak and arohi saw the acvidental death of their mother in front of their eyes. One became a bully and dominant rebel and the other sacrificing suppressive silent version. Both are wrong in their own ways. Even abhi too.

Agree arohi manipulates for her self centred goals. But ak too is the root cause of this whole fiasco.. her rejections are not the issue but not giving valid reasons for her rejections are. If ak had spoken up in time arohi wouldnt have come into the picture. Arohi utilised that to her advantage with manipulations and abhi instead of communicating properly with ak and trying to find the reason behind aks rejections, believed the illusions and went for arohi and then later when truth was unfolded dumped arohi the bride publicly in the mandap at the last moment. No girl however vile or manipulating she is deserves this. Both abhira at the end of the day had betrayed arohi abandoning her publicly in the mandap especially ak being the sister though their reasons are justified. To understand ak and arohis perspective we need to watch season 2 to have a better understanding of their past and family background and their insecurities.

Manish is saying that he needs time to decide cause any normal guardian would do the same. Most of the real parents would have kicked abhi from the house for his idhar udhar drama. Atleast manish wants to observe abhira for sometime, test their depth, analyse the complete situation from both the girls perspective and then come to a conclusion. Im sure he will agree to abhiras alliance but somewhere it will leave a sour and bitter taste with arohi.

So in this thread we discuss each episode and each character unbiased and try to understand each characters perspective.

I'm gonna repeat that I didn't mean this thread. I meant the forum in general. I know that certain threads have a more unbiased opinion, which is why I asked my question on this thread, rather than the main forum 😆

I'm not sure if I can defend Aarohi because though I get her intentions and where her insecurity stems from, it gets to a point where you become more wrong than right.

Aarohi is insecure about the position she has in the family. Her grandmother's words about her being a second choice, are what drive her to be "No. 1". And however bitter it might sound, Sirat was always the second choice for Kartik. He had already loved Naira with all his heart and soul - Sirat would never be his soul-mate. And while both Sirat and Karthik were okay with it - they both had soul mates before they met each other - obviously Aarohi is not very comfortable with that fact. And her jealousy also stems from the fact that everyone naturally gravitates towards Akshara. In her quest to be numero uno, she's lost track of her conscience and that has been topped with the relative free hand the family gives her.

Akshara on the other hand has taken Sirat's words to heart. She's spent her entire life working to be the nurturing person Sirat wanted her to be. But she's a young girl herself, and doesn't know how to be an honorary parent. To be a stronger voice with Aarohi.

She's been publicly dumped and she hates Akshu-Abhi for it. I get it. But she's manipulated situations so very thoroughly that her bitterness is more about her ego than her respect.

In our world intent matters. As long as Akshara felt Aarohi's intent behind marrying Abhimanyu was love, she stood silently. When she realised the intent was not love, but rather her ego and her image, she had to pick up her voice. If the MD exam had been two days earlier and she had gotten to know Aarohi's truth then, she might have stopped the wedding then too. All the problems bubbled over on the wedding day due to moronic steps by all the three leads.

And it's very hard anyway to see your love getting married to someone else. But to imagine that you are going to destroy your love's life - a man who is ready to go against anyone and everyone for you - because the person who you are sacrificing everything for has no value of him as a person or marriage as a whole.

I'm not saying Abhi-Akshu are right - but their intentions were never bad. Same cannot be said for Aarohi. At least for me.

If she was as right as some people say, then how is getting married to Abhimanyu in any way right?

I am a doctor - met a would-be doctor in medical school and went against the whole family to get married to him. I was the nerd, the valedictorian of our class. He was the jock - sports captain of our class. Did it matter to me that he wasn't the number 1 in terms of studies? Did it matter to him that I can hardly catch a ball while he was recognized soccer player?

Agar itni hi capability hai toh become someone on your own. Getting married to a successful person is hardly an indication of your talent. Being successful is.

And I might be in the minority but I'm happy they broke the relationship when they did. It was fate that both of them got to know their respective truths on the wedding day, pehle pata chalta toh pehle hi toot jaata, but better a broken wedding than a broken marriage. no?
