Because Abhimanyu does what he likes he is somewhat selfish in his actions. Though his intent is never to hurt anyone but at the same time he does not realize the consequences of his actions. Or he thinks too practical at the outcome. This is where I see Akshara balancing him out.

The kitchen scene tonight between Manjari and Abhi was really nice. We got some of that mother son bonding back that we saw in the early episodes before the whole 1st tilak fiscao happened.

The thing with Abhimanyu and Akshara is both of them share completely different dynamics with their respective families.

Akshu is mostly ignored by her family left with her own devices but Abhimanyu he is the center of everything in Birla household.

His family love, care and respect him, even Harsh.

No, he just let it slide because he loves his son too much and doesn't want to loose him, neither does manjari say anything to him.

This guy ruined the reputation of two families, the relationship between those families but he get away.

I think that's what always happened since his childhood, he made mistakes and nobody corrected him, so he dies what he likes.

He doesn't realise ak situation might not be the same, the girl have face consequences of Aarohi's actions all her life.

Manjari and Akshu have so much influence on him because they make him understand see things clearly. But manjari is blinded by her love for him, she mostly only corrects him when he and harsh are arguing, she lets everything else slide.

The difference between akshu and manjari is Akshu actually corrects him when he is wrong and the guy understand but anger doesn't work on him just like it doesn't work on Akshu.

Abhi would rage until the person shuts up and ak would stay quiet building a wall no one can break.

True Abhi is the apple of birlas eyes.. Each person there loves him to the core. Their whole life revolves around Abhi. Mahima literally cried for him.. Imagine that strong lady crying before somebody. That is epitome of their love and concern. Abhi acts as per his wish and rest handles the consequences of it.

Coming to Ak, its just the opposite. Everybody acts per their wish and ak handles and manages the consequences especially arohis.. Imagine doing that since childhood. How much burden she had carried??? It will take a whole lot of while to realise the worth of ak in their lives by Goenkas especially arohi..

And this will be the major strength and weakness for both, abhi and ak.

Ak will bring abhi closer to his family, sort out his issues with the family and keep everybody united.. And abhi in turn teach her to take a stand for herself, teach her how to connect with herself.

But at the same time major conflict will be for complete attention and priority towards abhi. He will crave and fight for each minute with goenkas. Her decisions will be based on the happiness of all which may not go well with abhi all the time as he wants individual attention and he should be the center of universe as thats what he is used of..

Guys, Abhimanyu Birla is such a complex character, I can write pages upon pages on him and it still wouldn't be enough.

I just love him so so so very much.

Abhi is in a way the sheltered child. He is like a prince who doesn't had to think about consequences.

Because his entire family kind of took care of it.

The treatment of ak by goenkas is wrong but I can't blame the goenkas for how they are behaving now.

Elopement is not a small thing, but Abhimanyu doesn't face anything, infact they were pacifying him so that he don't leave by the end of it.

Akshu didn't had a choice I understand with Abhi threat but Abhimanyu he doesn't even understand the consequences of his actions because he never had to deal with any.

He is a shiv bhakt and in a way is like shivji who doesn't care about social norms.

Like I said can write pages about him and still can't explain his character.
