Meher actually if you see, abhis wish was complicated. Remember after the first panic attack scenario, abhi asking himself whether Ak will ever love him to the extreme like how she loves her family and sister?? Like there itself he wished for her to choose him and love him more than her family and choose him over her family and sister.

If in tilak 1, ak had spoken out, it was less complicated, goenkas already were for ak abhi alliance despite the small misunderstanding. It was like a ready made dress to be worn without much hassle, not challenging at all. abhis wish of Ak choosing him over the family, loving abhi more than her sis wouldnt have been met. So he cut the dress with all the right measurements and made ak tailor made for him and moulded her in a way where she completely forgets her beloved sis or her family and choose him over her family. Her love for him surpassed all the restraints.. This is what he actually wished and thats what he achieved in the end with his selfless love and hence all these complications.
