He doesn’t know the difference between sarcasm and well intended gestures. He has hurt her with his actions and now he hits her with sarcasm. So much for his vaada to his guru to look after his daughter. He only remembered it once in this entire fiasco that he has to forgo his promise to him for his new commitment to Shruti. Just once, he apologised and he was done. Zilch guilt after that and goes on to repeatedly hurt his daughter.
