Come on, if Alia Bhatt can literally learn by acting in movies, why not Karishma?

i feel the same she is good at being a MEAN GIRL but fails when she has to show any kind of emotion

she comes off as a comical clumsy OTT villain

maybe they wanted to make her a vamp that people would laugh at and not take seriously

Exactly. She is strictly ok when it comes to loud OTT acting involving lots of chillana, bhadkana, akshu ko ignore karna, tang karna, etc...
