I'm a bit curious about Sid's dialogue "Purano Siddhartha Modak".. In yesterday's episode Sid had warned Omi that he shouldn't risk provoking him into become "Purono Siddhartha Modak"...

Well what do we exactly know about" Purono Siddhartha Modak"??

He was Rude n Reserved, Short Tempered, Cold (No Emotional Connection with Family)

He was Focused on his Work, Strict n Disciplined

He used to Avoid any kind of Chaos

But in today's episode after beating Omi to the ground Sid once again reminded Omi that he did a mistake awaking the "Purono Siddhartha Modak" 🤔

Here's my confusion 🤔

Purono Siddhartha Modak as we know would have never bothered about Mishti Hub opening, let alone fighting for rescuing the Moyras.. He would have max contact Rudy n let him do his job..

But today his expression was different when he was holding the gun n beating Omi mercilessly.. Even Mithai was scared .. It felt like he was mentioning about an altogether different Siddhartha Modak whom we haven't seen before except once (Haltu Track) ..

So there might be a possibility that he had a very wild side when he was in school which was mentioned by Rai.. Could be becoz of Arati's death n his anger issues due to misunderstanding BoroBabu ...

And then again maybe I'm thinking too much 🙈 So plz everyone do share what do you all think about this

So as you said the "purono Siddharth Modak" that we (as audience) are familiar with would not have reacted so extremely. Yes he has always been very protective of his Dadai but he was also very good at keeping his emotions in check.

Basically, there are two reasons which are making me wonder if there is more to this "purono Siddharth Modak" business -

1) Firstly this phrase has started being used ever since Omi Agarwal has appeared on the scene. Now given what we know, we can assume that these two have most probably not met since their school days or at least have not been that close. So when Omi is referring to Purono Siddharth Modak, he is most probably referring to him in the context of their school days.

Also this phrase has been used 3 times so far and all in reference to some sort of violence or aggressive behavior by Sid. Today after he said "toke bolechilam na purono Siddharth Modak ke jagas na," he found himself clutching the gun, and at that he seemed to snap out of some reverie and threw the gun aside in disgust. While he was doing all of this, Mithai also seemed to be scared/confused by his behavior as if she too did not recognize this version of Ucchebabu.

2) Bond between Rudra and Sid - From the very first time Rudra was introduced, Sid has always been shown to be very dependent on him. In any crisis or even non-crisis, it is always Rudy that he reaches out to first. Similarly, beyond friendship, even Rudra also has a very protective stance towards Sid. In a boy's hostel, this sort of dynamic often develops when a senior takes a junior under his wings and shelters him . Siddharth being an emotionally vulnerable boy, whose mother just had just died, must have had anger issues. In fact, in the initial episodes Somoresh had also mentioned several times that the reason why he had sent Sid to boarding school was because he did not know how to handle him post-Aarati's death.

A young boy with anger issues must have faced bullies and ragging at boarding school and fought against them. During this time, Rudra must have taken him under his wing and helped him to control his anger as well as maybe taught him how to fight (because honestly speaking no corporate executive that I know can fight the way Sid fought today 😆) After he learned to fight maybe he defeated all the bullies and that is where the reputation of "purono Siddharth Modak" comes into play.

Sorry for the excessively long post again. Hope this makes some sense. 😕

Most probably all of this is khayali pulao 😆 and the creatives will once again go to the simplest explanation of Purono Siddharth Modak being whatever he was before Mithai changed him 🤬...but then one can hope

In short, all I felt was, it was a wrong dialogue, writer confusa gaya. 😆

A few days ago when Tess became the boss, I mentioned in a post that she is going to fall flat on her face simply because she is not qualified. Tess has come this far piggybacking on Sid and now that she is trying to cut off the hand that fed her so far, her own ineptitude is going to come forward like it did in yesterday's episode.

Honestly, I like this office track because it actually happens in real life. Egomaniac managers trying to take credit, humiliating employees etc. is a very real phenomenon that many of us have to face. But what Tess does not realise is that she is hitting the kulhari on her own feet because in a corporate workspace with great power comes great accountability also.

Sid's reaction to the whole situation yesterday and the way he handled it made sense, but this pattern of him coming to the rescue cannot continue forever. Tess needs to realise what deep trouble she is actually in and hopefully flat on her face soon. (Please let this happen quickly...ar para jache na 😒)

I think (and Soniya will probably agree 😆) the next stage in Tess's grand plan to "jobdofy" Sid will probably be to implicate him in something shady. Hopefully, he will understand how vindictive she truly is and we will get to see the "purono Siddharth Modak" in action again 😆 Given how they like to involve Mithai in everything she will also be involved somehow. I just hope it does not involve jail or sexual harassment situations. 🤬

Thank you for making this post Rai.. You know I've been waiting for this Sid vs Tess track too ever since the news about either one of them would take Mr. Ghosh's position was out.. Tess is riding high on ego n her only goal was to insult Sid which cannot be the Goal of a CEO of a company (I think probably that's her post) ..

Earlier the team used to be scared of Sid coz of his strict n cold behavior n they were close to Tess.. But things have changed gradually n they are now more comfortable working with Sid rather than egoistic Tess Madam 🙄 They are witnessing Tess's everyday behavior towards Sid n everyone else too.. Yesterday she asked Sid to come alone but thankfully Sid is smart enough so he instead asked her to say whatever she has to say infront of the whole team.. That was a smart move... So even in future Tyash Bori tries to trap Sid in some shady plan, Nikita Team will be there to support Sid n expose Tess coz they are frustrated too..

So you're right I'm actually waiting for Boudimoni to make some Grand Plan to Jobdofy Sid coz like they say "Oti baar berona jhore ude jaabe" 😂

I liked the episode overall...Sreetul relationship definitely needed to go through this phase for their understanding to grow...if we speak on purely practical terms then marriage like our careers also require effort, long-term planning, commitment and passion. Sid learned the hard way that marriage is not something that you just do and then leave aside. Sree and Ratul are not as bad perhaps but they need to understand where they stand with each other.

Hola peeps...hope everyone is enjoyed their mid-week break for Republic Day (if you are not in India...sorry)

So I decided to pen down some of my thoughts yet again...please bear with me 😆

A few weeks ago I had written about how Mithai's love for Sid was like that of a puppy's...blind adoration for her master and Sid reciprocated her feelings by caring for her like a long-suffering but indulgent owner

Well since that phase, Siddharth Modak palte gache (as the show is so fond of reminding us at every turn) and with that, the Sidhai relationship has also evolved and the biggest indication of what it has become was in yesterday's episode

Very frankly watching yesterday's episode I was a bit mystified by Mithai pampering Sid and how receptive he was to all of it. In fact, he even demanded it himself.

Now I don't wish to generalize but I typically associate this type of pampering with a mother and child relationship... not between a young, married couple. So why would a serious, no-nonsense personality like Sid's submit to this type of babying (for the lack of a better term)?

And then I realised because that is precisely what he craves for after years of emotional neglect. Sid's emotional growth was stunted by his mother's death and lack of parental support during his formative years . His happiness was directly tied to his mother, so when she died he was left emotionally bereft and in a way he stopped growing.

So now that his emotions are resurfacing he is subconciously seeking that comfort from Mithai. For him, she is quite literally "Ma er moton bhalo" so he is seeking those traits in her to recreate the happiness he once had with his mother

This evolution is both good and bad news for Sidhai fans. Good because there is significant progress. But bad because the status quo of their relationship still very much depends on Sid and his needs. And unfortunately Sid is still not in the space where he has recognised Mithai as a lover.

Mithai on the other hand, is shifting into these roles because that is the only way she can express her love for Dadur r Nati. Dadur naati has given her adhikar in many aspects of his life but he has also drawn many boundaries that she cannot breach. So she has to suppress her feelings but this is taking a toll on her and if it continues much longer I believe she will get genuinely hurt.

Anyway hope this made some sense guys...I had some thoughts after watching the last few episodes so decided to put them down here. Please do let me know what you think 🤗❤️

So well explained. And i agree with u. Even I felt he is actually longing for the pampering from Mithai. He is demanding it, kind of rightfully. "Feed me", "matha tipe dao"..... being married, I can say, hubby's do ask for pampering from wifey, so its nt exactly exclusive to only Mother - child.😆

In Mithai, I actually loved te character growth of Sid. From - Dont touch my thngs ---- to ---- feed me....is a long way he travelled. I can say, he had his emotion re-surfaced.

Absolutely Rai di! You penned it so well! If you remember, Siddharth Modak doesn't want to be like his father whom he thinks the reason behind his mother's death. Sid never wanted to see Mithai suffering like his mother due to his inability to process love, romance, relationships and all. Unconsciously he used to think that he is doing the same thing as his dad did. Now, remember that scene, where he says that his mother used to have long hair like Mithai. Certain subtle indications, must say. Remeber that scene with background score 'taake olpo kache dakchi r aagle aagle rakhchi" ❤️, he is astonished to see someone is trying to protect him, praying for him. Even that half spoon payesh scene clears many things. None ever tried to cross the barrier that he created after his mother's death. But Mithai did and he noticed it.

In simple words, Siddharth Modak craves love, emotional support! Ekhon dekhche j besh mondo toh noi baparta, so 'khaiye dewa' cholche. Even my super hygienic ucche isn't protesting when being cleaned with wifey's aanchal! ❤️❤️
